MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff released the following Jan. 31:
* On Jan. 28, Deputy Brown responded to 27400 State Route 7, Lot 50, Marietta, to a report of a domestic dispute complaint. The Marietta Police Department had received information that Duane Roe had assaulted someone. Deputy Brown met with both parties in which Roe denied knowing why law enforcement was there. Deputy Brown continued speaking with subjects and determined that he would be making an arrest. Duane Merlyn Roe, 51, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
* On Jan. 28, Deputy Young was dispatched to 6658 Archers Fork Road, Independence Township, to a burglary in progress, later determined to be unfounded. Deputy Young made contact with John Addlesburger, an occupant of the residence, who refused to open the front door. Addlesburger then fled the residence, being ordered multiple times to stop, but refused. After a short foot pursuit, Addlesburger surrendered. John William Addlesburger, 46, 406 Vine St., New Matamoras, was placed under arrest and charged with obstructing official business.
* On Jan. 28, Sgt. McKee began an investigation on Hanna Road in reference to a burglary. Numerous items of value were removed from the residence. This case remains under investigation.
The following subject was processed into the Washington County Jail between Jan. 30-31:
* Justin Tyler Gibbs, 28, homeless, aggravated possession of fentanyl and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies, and driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
