MARIETTA — Washington County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports Jan. 29:

* On Jan. 26, Deputy Schwendeman responded to 122 Tennis Center Drive, Apt. 37, Marietta, to a report of a male trying to break into the residence. Schwendeman was unable to locate the male. The resident stated the male identified himself as a police officer, stating his name was Officer Ellis while beating on the door, telling her to open it. The male also stated that he was looking for a male subject, giving the name of the individual to the female. The individual the male was looking for then reported Mitchell Rowl and had just entered his apartment without permission. The resident reported an altercation earlier in the evening in Marietta with Rowland. Schwendeman spoke with Rowland on the phone and he did state that he had been at the apartment, stating he went to the wrong apartment first. A warrant is being requested for Mitchell Douglas Rowland, 30, 32101 Cochransville Road, New Matamoras, on a charge of impersonating a peace officer and aggravated burglary.

* On Jan 26, Deputy Painter began an investigation into a debit card being used by subjects without the permission of the owner. This case remains under investigation.

* On Jan. 28, Sgt. Carr responded to a report of suspected methamphetamine being recovered. Elizabeth A. Lang was behaving in an odd manner and was found to have used methamphetamine. Lang was arrested on a probation violation and her jacket was found to contain a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine. Lang acknowledged the jacket belonged to her as well as the methamphetamine. Lang, 31, 1009 Colegate Drive, Marietta, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of possession of drugs.

* Duane Merlyn Roe, 51, 27400 State Route 7, Marietta, probation violation and domestic violence, both felonies.

* Nickolaus Sprouse, 24, homeless, possession of drugs, a felony.

* Amanda Asia Wallace, 25, 101 Leland Ave., Marietta, theft and burglary, both felonies, and theft, a misdemeanor.

* David Lee Slagle, 38, 4869 Rainbow Road, Lowell, fugitive from justice (Pleasants County).

* John William Addlesburger, 46, 406 Vine St., New Matamoras, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

* Josey Cheyenne Barton, 28, 806 Front St., Marietta, nonsupport of dependents, breach of recognizance, two counts receiving stolen property, all misdemeanors.

* Tyler Michael Ludwig, 31, 400 Walnut Grove, Washington, failure to control a motorcycle, OMVI, both misdemeanors.

* Seth Taylor Venham, 34, 1060 Sugar Run Road, Marietta, possession of drugs, two counts, both felonies.

* Austina Shae McCartney, 25, 807 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, contempt of court, a felony.

* Zohn Joseph Dominick Kelly, 29, 1313 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, breach of recognizance and contempt of court, both felonies.

* Ashley Cheyenne Bay, 27, 907 Neal St., Parkersburg, theft without consent, a felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

* Kurtis Matthew Walters, 26, 1455 E. Branch Road, Lowell, having weapons while under disability, a felony.

* Crystal R Larrison, 36, 38 Putnam Place, Marietta, contempt of court, a felony, possession of drugs and OMVI, both misdemeanors.

MARIETTA — Washington County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports Jan. 30:

* On Jan. 29, Deputy Hill was working at the Washington County Jail when inmate Cody Knotts was found to be in possession of a small piece of metal, approximately 3.5-inches long with one end sharpened. After meeting with Knotts he allegedly admitted to finding the piece of metal. Cody M. Knotts, 28, 8965 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, was charged with possession of a deadly weapon.

* On Jan. 29, Deputy Painter began an investigation into trespassing. This case remains under investigation.

* On Jan. 29, Deputy Painter began an investigation into a debit card being used by subjects unknown to the victim. This case remains under investigation.

* Christian Adam Preston, 38, 111 Sunset Lane, Marietta, assault, a felony, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, misdemeanors.

* Nicholas James Patterson, 37, 2201 Murray St., Belpre, possession of drugs, a felony, driving under OVI suspension, drug paraphernalia, driving while under the influence and disorderly, all misdemeanors.

* Falcon Ross Owens, 25, 220 S. Sixth St., Apt. B, Marietta, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

* Misty Louise Caldwell, 42, 3645 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, probation violation and theft, both misdemeanors.
