ATHENS — Athens County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on July 17:
* Units were dispatched to Mill Street in Chauncey in reference to an overdose. Deputies found an unresponsive male in the bathroom. Family members advised the male had used heroin which was evident due to drug paraphernalia on the bathroom sink. Narcan was used to revive the male subject, successfully. ACEMS arrived on scene and transported the male to O’Bleness Hospital.
* Deputies responded to The Plains for a report of an open door at a rental storage. Deputies secured the storage unit the best they could and attempted to contact the storage company to advise them.
* A report of an abandoned vehicle at a Walnut Street residence in The Plains was received. Deputies tagged the vehicle for removal and attempted contact with the vehicle owner.
