ATHENS — On Sept. 30, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports:
* On Sept. 29, deputies spoke with a complainant in reference to a theft of motorcycles on Coe Road in Albany, Ohio.
* On Sept. 29, deputies were dispatched to a report of an active dispute on Meadowbrook Road, Albany. The report was that an intoxicated female was yelling and had a ball bat that she was swinging at two males at the residence. Prior to deputies arrival, the female had left the area on foot and was unable to be located. Both males indicated they did not wish to pursue a criminal investigation but wanted her to calm down for the night. Deputies checked the nearby fields and paths in the woods on foot with negative contact. The caller was encouraged to call back if she returned causing issues.
* On Sept. 29, deputies took a report of a stolen debit card that was used out of state. This case is under investigation.
* On Sept. 30, deputies responded to the Green Meadows Trailer Court in Chauncey for a threats and harassment report. On scene, the complainant advised he had received text messages that he interpreted to be threatening in nature. The complainant requested a report be taken to document the activity should a pattern of harassment develop.
