MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 27.

* On March 25 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Donald J. Bartimus, 34, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for driving under a suspended license near 1227 Sealy Ridge Road in Belpre Township.

* On March 26 Brittany L. Wheat, 25, 367 Spence Road, Belpre, reported her live-in boyfriend jumped on the hood of her car and would not allow her to leave the residence. Wheat and her boyfriend argued moments earlier. Neither party reported being in fear for their safety during the incident. Deputy Sheriff McPeek closed this case as unfounded.

* On March 27 Diann Rock, 59, 55 Center St., Waterford, reported an unknown suspect, possibly in Tennessee, obtained duplicates of two of her credit cards and used them to accrue nearly $2,000 in charges.

* On March 27 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Trista A. Oliver, 21, 115 N. Hart St., Apt. 10, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license on Knox Street near Front Street in Pioneer Township.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on March 25.

* On March 24, Robert Atkinson, 64, 1210 Burnett Road, Cutler, was securing pieces of a disassembled porch deck onto his pickup truck at 1515 Bell Road, Vincent, when the load shifted and a piece of the deck fell on him. The Barlow Volunteer Fire Department transported Atkinson to Camden Clark Medical Center for treatment. He was treated for minor injuries and released.

* On March 24, Sgt. McGilton arrested Tyson C. Hill, 33, 175 Goose Run Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order and two counts of possession of drug abuse instruments. Dispatch received a report that Hill was inside an apartment at Cedarbark Apartments. Though Hill claimed he had permission to be in the residence, he was forbidden from being in the apartment because the owner has a protection order against him. While arresting Hill, McGilton found him in possession of a crack pipe and a syringe.

* On March 24, Nicole Taggart, 39, 109 Oak Drive, Little Hocking, reported she recently noticed several of her prescription pills were missing. Taggart declined to pursue the matter further.

* On March 24, a resident on Tick Ridge Road reported he found a gun safe in a field near the intersection of Tick Ridge Road and Veto Road in Fairfield Township. The safe, a Sentrysafe brand and black in color, was empty and had pry marks around the door.

* On March 24, Sgt. Mankins arrested Gregory C. Ammell II, 25, 445 Zion Ridge Road, Marietta, for domestic violence and unlawful restraint. Ammell’s live-in girlfriend and the mother of his child, Tyler Pritchett, 20, reported Ammell assaulted her. During the incident, Ammell punched her in the face multiple times and would not allow her to leave the home. Pritchett said she was finally able to escape to a neighbor’s home after she bit and punched Ammell.

* Tyson Chad Hill, 33, 175 Goose Run Road, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of a protection order and two counts of possession of drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors. Hill was arrested at Cedarbark Apartments by Sgt. McGilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 24 at 12:46 p.m.

* Marcus Gregory Boothby, 19, 826 Pike St., Apt. 13, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Boothby was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 24 at 4:36 p.m.

* John James Wright, 42, Mount Olive Road, Long Bottom, was arrested for two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of a protection order. Wright was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 24 at 5:27 p.m.

* Jason Michael Weidner, 38, 2045 W. State Route 555, Chesterhill, was arrested for failing to register a dog and for abandoning animals, both misdemeanors. Weidner was arrested in Barlow by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 24 at 6:43 p.m.

* Gregory Curtis Ammell II, 25, 445 Zion Ridge Road, Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence and unlawful restraint, both misdemeanors. Ammell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 24 at 8:40 p.m.

* Abby L. Roach, 21, 110 Indian Run Road, Marietta, was sentenced in common pleas court for two counts of trafficking in drugs, fourth- and fifth-degree felonies. The sentence was 17 months.

MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on March 26.

* On March 25, John W. Bartlett, 30, 23560 Ohio 339, Beverly, reported he was walking away after starting his dishwasher when he heard a loud pop. He turned to find smoke and flames emanating out of the dishwasher. Bartlett attempted to control the flames until the Beverly Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames. The fire, which appears to have originated in the appliance’s heating element, caused approximately $1,500 in damage to the kitchen countertop.

* On March 25, Florence E. Beardmore, 72, 2565 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, reported at some point since the first of the year, three crocks, a 20 gallon and two eight gallons, were stolen from a barn on her property.

* Iesha Rachelle McFadden, 19, 288 Ridgewood Drive, Apt. A, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. McFadden was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 25 at 2:43 p.m.

* Christopher Cheyenne Carter, 36, 17843 Chamberlain Road, Grafton, Ohio, was arrested for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Carter was picked up at the Medina County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 25 at 5:27 p.m.

* Emily Brooke Knotts, 37, 205 Gibbons St., Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Knotts was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 1:53 a.m.

* Charles Edwin Day Jr., 31, 830 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Day was arrested on Gibbons Street by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 2:14 a.m.

* Richard Wesley Hawkins, 45, 205 Gibbons St., Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Hawkins was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 2:27 a.m.

* Pamela Darlene Carpenter, 55, 913 Fifth St., Marietta, was arrested for a felony charge of permitting drug abuse and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of her probation. Carpenter was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 3:24 a.m.

* Courtney Megan Lamp, 27, 108 Berry Lane, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Lamp was arrested on Fifth Street in Marietta by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 3:56 a.m.

* Chris Derek Walker Jr., 25, 108 Berry Lane, Marietta, was arrested for felony charges of possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of items into a detention facility and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business. Walker was arrested on Fifth Street in Marietta by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 4:16 a.m.

* James Arthur Henes Jr., 38, 215 Second St., St. Marys, was arrested for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business. Walker was arrested in Marietta and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 26 at 1:24 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 20.

* On March 16, Deputy Sheriff McKee issued a citation to Brittany Roberts, 20, 4054 School House Road, Little Hocking, for not stopping at a stop sign on the off ramp of U.S. 50 at Ohio 339 in Belpre Township.

* On March 19, the Reno Volunteer Fire Department transported a Marietta Township resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment following a suicide attempt. The person ingested an unknown drug in an attempt to take her own life, officials said. Medical personnel said the victim should recover fully.

* On March 19, Deputy Sheriff Metts responded to the scene of death of a 65-year-old Beverly resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

* On March 19, Samuel R. Spicocchi, 69, 921 Duncan S.W., Massillon, Ohio, reported someone entered his hunting cabin at 1067 Back Road, Macksburg. Spicocchi is unsure what property is missing.

* On March 19, Donna J. Summers, 72, 40 Mitchell Drive, Newport, reported someone used her social security number to file an electronic federal income tax return.

* On March 19, Deputy Sheriff Reeder arrested Jason R. Poling, 32, Cutler, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. A neighbor of Poling on Clark Road reported that Poling was intoxicated and passed out in the roadway. In his intoxicated state, Poling attempted to punch his now former roommate and threatened to break the windows of his roommate’s home. Reeder noticed Poling was unsteady on his feet and slurred his speech. At the Washington County Jail Poling tested .291 BAC.

* Gerald Lynn Sealey Jr., 38, 1421 McGill Road, Vincent, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Sealey turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff McConnell and was processed into the Washington County Jail on March 19 at 3:31 p.m.

* Cody John Keene, 19, Marietta, was arrested for a felony charge of rape and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his probation. Keene was arrested at Putnam Apartments by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 19 at 5:59 p.m.

* Jason Ross Poling, 32, Cutler, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Poling was arrested in Cutler by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 19 at 11:17 p.m.

* Natasha Marie Salyer, 24, 3569 Veto Road, Vincent, was arrested for aggravated burglary, a felony. Salyer was arrested on Cisler Lane by Patrolman Harlow of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 20 at 2:38 a.m.

* Christi A. Carney, 45, 701 Dunbarger Road, Lowell, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for failure to control, both misdemeanors. Carney was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 20 at 3:45 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 13.

* On March 11, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to John C. Kuhn III, 24, 1214 George St., Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license on Collins Road near U.S. 50 in Belpre Township.

* On March 11, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Michael B. Smith, 20, 479 Four Mile Creek Road, Coolville, for driving under a suspended license on U.S. 50 near Gantsville Road in Belpre Township.

* On March 12, the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department transported Howard Spencer, 69, 52 Saint Andrews Boulevard, Belpre, to Camden Clark Medical Center for treatment following an accident at Kraton Polymers. While attempting to lower a drawbridge-style conveyor, Spencer became pinned at the chest, the sheriff’s office said. It does not appear that Spencer suffered any serious injuries, officials said.

* On March 12, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Laura R. West, 23, 736 Greene St., Apt. 14, Marietta, for failing to reinstate her operator’s license. Rhodes stopped West on Ohio 550 near Virginia Street in Warren Township.

* On March 12, a caller reported there was an intoxicated male at 1020 Caywood Road, Marietta, handling a gun. Jeremy M. Phipps, 35, allegedly stole the .22 rifle from a roommate. When deputies arrived at the home, Phipps appeared intoxicated and was unsteady on his feet. Under questioning, Phipps admitted firing the gun earlier in the day and also admitted consuming beer and vodka. Phipps is prohibited from possessing firearms due to his criminal history, which includes felony convictions for intimidation of a witness and possession of drugs. Sgt. McLeish arrested Phipps for possessing a weapon while being under disability and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

* On March 12, Lt. Rhodes arrested Dale J. Winters, 64, 109 South Bass Lane, Vincent, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for failing to reinstate his operator’s license. Stopped for driving outside the marked lanes of travel on Veto Road, Winters had slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. Though Winters admitted consuming two beers, he performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

* Dustin Lee Brooks, 28, 1776 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, was arrested for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Brooks was arrested on Linwood Avenue by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 13 at 4:05 a.m.

* Tara Galadriel Carroll, 24, 1214 Lockwood St., Apt. B, Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Carroll was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Nichols of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 13 at 8:52 a.m.

* Donald Keith Carter, 24, 10 E. Hickory St., Davisville, was arrested for theft, a felony. Carter was picked up at the Doddridge County jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 13 at 9:46 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following information and charges on March 12.

* On March 11, Detective Smeeks requested a warrant for Clifton D. Collins, 34, address unknown, for failing to register a change of address as a registered sex offender. Collins failed to inform the Sheriff’s Office of his new address within five days after he moved from 2265 Tick Ridge Road, Lower Salem.

* On March 11, Lt. Gherke and Deputy Sheriff Reeder were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 168 Antioch Road, Little Hocking. Jared D. Tims, 36, stated he and his live-in girlfriend, Renee Richardson, 45, were arguing over their relationship and household chores when he made a comment about going back to an ex-girlfriend. The comment infuriated Richardson, who then threw a cup of hot tea on Tims’ right arm. Richardson admitted throwing tea on Tims but she claimed the tea was not hot. Tims exhibited slight redness in the area where he said he was burned. Gherke arrested Richardson for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

* On March 11, the manager of Hurst Tractor Sales, 1200 Pike St., Marietta, reported a yearly audit revealed the business is missing a Kubota RTV. It is unknown when the vehicle was stolen. The RTV has a retail value of approximately $15,000.

* On March 12, Sgt. Holbert and Deputy Sheriff Hunter responded to the scene of death of a 72-year-old Waterford Township resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

* Jeremy Burgin Green, 34, 1441 Bermuda Ave., Richmond, Va., was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Green was picked up at Petersburg Federal Prison in Virginia by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 11 at 4:08 p.m.

* Tricia Ann Martin, 30, 110 Knox St., Apt. 16, Marietta, was arrested for felonious assault. Martin was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 11 at 9:21 p.m.

* Everett Christopher Freeland, 30, 650 13th St., Parkersburg, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony. Freeland was arrested on Washington Boulevard by Patrolman Tewanger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 12 at 12:46 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 11.

* On March 9, the manager of Camp Hervida, 1260 Camp Hervida Road, Waterford, reported someone entered the dining hall and forcibly removed approximately 15 feet of copper piping.

* On March 10, Letticia L. Boehm, 18, 1308 Williamson Ave., Apt. 1F, New Matamoras, reported the father of her unborn child assaulted her. Boehm said she was arguing with Jared P. Irvin, 21, 123 Fred Smith Road, New Matamoras, when he grabbed her by the neck, pulled her hair and threw her to the floor. Irvin accused Boehm of choking him, saying that she went crazy when he told her he was breaking up with her. However, Irvin did not exhibit any injuries consistent with his story. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff McKee arrested Irvin for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

* On March 10, Deputy Sheriff Reeder requested a summons for Crystal D. Johnson, 34, 10275 Ohio 550, Vincent, for disorderly conduct. Upset over family issues, Johnson began breaking dishes. She also pulled the trash bag out of the trash can and spilled it on the floor, overturned a wood cabinet and punched a hole in a closet door.

* On March 11, Sgt. Mankins arrested Michael Boyce, 48, and Kimberly D. Bonnett, 42, both of 1360 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, for robbery. Tammy Beebe, 56, 17982 Ohio 550, Marietta, reported Boyce and Bonnett were at her house doing laundry when she noticed a bottle of her prescription medication was missing. When Beebe said she was going to phone law enforcement, Bonnett flew into a fit of rage, ripped the phone wires from the wall and raised her fist in a threatening manner at Beebe. Beebe also said that Boyce got in her face and yelled at her. At the scene, Sgt. Mankins searched a backpack belonging to one of Bonnett’s children and discovered an empty prescription pill bottle that belonged to Beebe. The child said she had no idea how the bottle or jewelry that belonged to Beebe got in her backpack. In Bonnett’s children’s other bags, Sgt. Mankins found other items taken from Beebe’s home, including paper plates, cups, silverware, toilet paper, soap and frozen food.

* Heather Marie Statler, 37, 910 30th St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arrested for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Statler was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 10 at 10:24 a.m.

* Fredrick Lloyd Scott, 26, 2708 New York Ave., Parkersburg, was arrested for felonious assault. Scott was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 10 at 10:53 a.m.

* Jared Patrick Irvin, 21, 123 Fred Smith Road, New Matamoras, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony. Irvin was arrested in New Matamoras by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 10 at 5:38 p.m.

* Renee Maria Richardson, 45, 168 Antioch Road, Little Hocking, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Richardson was arrested at her residence by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 11 at 3:26 a.m.

* Kimberly Darlene Bonnett, 42, 1360 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, was arrested for a felony charge of robbery and a misdemeanor charge of theft. Bonnett was arrested on Ohio 550 by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 11 at 5:47 a.m.

* Michael Vernon Boyce, 48, 1360 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, was arrested for robbery, a felony. Boyce was arrested on Ohio 550 by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 11 at 6:12 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 6:

* On March 5, Amanda L. Cech, 36, 125 Pineview Drive, Marietta, reported she parked her 2011 Acura SUV in her driveway the previous evening and when she awoke the following morning she noticed the vehicle had slid backward in the snow and ice and into the garage of the vacant house across the street. The incident caused significant damage to the garage door and minor damage to Cech’s vehicle.

* On March 5, a 35-year-old Little Hocking resident reported her 16-year-old son was throwing a tantrum. The teenager was allegedly upset that his mother disciplined him by taking away his mobile phone and was refusing to go on a family trip to Tennessee. Deputies counseled the teenager on his behavior and informed him that he would be charged if they had to return to the residence. The juvenile’s mother also declined to pursue charges.

* On March 6, a deputy requested a summons for a 17-year-old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court on charges of delinquency by disorderly conduct by intoxication and underage consumption of alcohol. A resident on Robinson Hill Road in Marietta reported she found the juvenile asleep in her vehicle around 6 a.m. The deputy noticed the teenager was unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. The teenager also had a skinned knee and vomit on his shirt. The juvenile admitted sneaking out of his foster home that evening and consuming eight beers and a Mason jar of vodka. Based on the juvenile’s prior history, his probation officer later transported him to the Washington County Juvenile Center and charged him with a probation violation.

* On March 6, the pastor of Grace Baptist Church, 101 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported sometime overnight the driver of an unknown vehicle drove onto the church’s property, attempted to do donuts in the grass and fled southbound on Ohio 60. The case remains under investigation.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail March 5:

* Scott Allen Shankland, 45, 27335 State Route 7, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Shankland was arrested on Sixth Street by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 5.

* Joshua Thomas Clark, 19, 216 Phillips St., Marietta, for corrupting another with drugs, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested at his residence by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 5.

* Sarah Nicole Nedley, 26, 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Nedley was picked up at the Monroe County line by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 5.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 5.

* On March 3, Ricardo G. Villarrueta, 40, 611 Eighth St., Marietta, reported he believes the tenants he is evicting from his rental property at 180 Caywood Road, Marietta, stole a set of scaffolding from the property. Villarrueta estimated the scaffolding’s value at $900.

* David Scot Ayre, 23, 121 W. 4 1/2 St., Apt. 2D, Williamstown, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor. Ayre was arrested at Wal-Mart by the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 4 at 12:13 p.m.

* Natasha Katherine Dains, 25, 231 Hillcrest Drive, Apt. A, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Dains was arrested in juvenile court by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 4 at 2:14 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on March 4.

* On March 3, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Kyle L. Woerner, 21, 6619 N. Ridge Road, Geneva, Ohio, for failing to reinstate his operator’s license. Rhodes stopped Woerner near milepost four on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township.

* On March 3, a 17-year-old Little Hocking resident reported the unknown driver of a vehicle struck the driver’s side door of his Ford pickup truck while it was parked in the parking lot of Warren High School that evening. The incident caused minor damage to the teenager’s vehicle.

* On March 4, Sgt. Johnson and Deputy Sheriff Huffer responded to the scene of death of a 70-year-old Independence Township resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

* Sarah Leann Chapman, 28, P.O. Box 444, Chapmanville, W.Va., was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for violating the terms of her probation, both misdemeanors. Chapman was arrested at the office of Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 3 at 4:33 p.m.

* Nicholas David Offenberger, 34, 331 Muskingum Drive, Apt. 1, Marietta, was arrested for menacing, a misdemeanor. Offenberger was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Kramer of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on March 3 at 8:45 p.m.
