PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 17:
* Nicole Dawn Wiseman, 712 30th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Christopher Adam Grinter, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of malicious assault. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. He pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of eight days for time served.
* Samantha Ann Adams, 1004 Pike St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Rebecca Dawn Allen, 98 Blue Side Drive, Washington, W.Va., had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Antonio Manule Defrietas, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $186.48
* Jimmie Denise Carter, 28 South Park Villa, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of forgery and uttering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Melissa Dawn Gregg, 1409 Andrew St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to embezzlement, fined $413.72 and was sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Restitution was ordered to be paid to 7-11.
* Jasmine M Harding, 824 Lakeview Drive Apt. 406 B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a vehicle on a rail trail violation and fined $196.48.
* Nathan Brent-Todd Wagner, 1740 Mathoit St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to running a red light and fined $186.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement. A charge of expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Nathan Curtis Arrowood, 341 Spruce St., Morgantown, a charge of shoplifting was dismissed as the defendant is deceased.
* Jessica Elizabeth Stark-Omogunloye, 1209 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had two counts of obstruction with threats of harm and falsely reporting an emergency dismissed as it was determined the defendant was not criminally responsible.
* Jerrianne Krystal Myers, Coolville, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $226.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation and required to report to Westbrook.
* Ronald Eugene Taylor III, 1519 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Jaeden Ray Maines, 117 Locust St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to being a prohibited person in possession of firearms, unlawfully using controlled substances and being in possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Darrell Alan Boggs, Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense domestic assault dismissed without prejudice as per the alleged victim’s wishes.
* Christopher Patrick Reynolds, Davisville, had a charge of second-offense domestic assault dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Joseph Alan Sindledecker, 26 Mulberry Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Christopher Jay Richards, 513 Dean St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and petit larceny and released on a $600 bond.
* Jeffrey Richard Cox, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.
* Sarah Beth Elmore, 1325 Court St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of drug conspiracy and held on $20,000 surety bond.
* Kenneth Willaim Brinklow, 2316 Highland Ave. Apt. B, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault, destruction of property and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $1,500 surety bond.
* Madaline F. Wilby, 1407 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 18-20:
* Josey Cheyenne Barton, 225 1/2 Sheldon Ave., Marietta, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Linda Grey Andrew, 257 Happy Valley Lane, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Curtis Franklin Rea, 1573 Williamstown Pike, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and two counts of violating a protective order and released on $7,000 cash bond.
* Ronald Wayne Byers, 506 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny (warrant) and released on $2,000 surety bond.
* Kylee Paige Bennett, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, domestic battery and obstruction and released on $7,500 surety bond.
* Amber Pauline Murphy, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of mandatory proof of disposal violation and having an open dump and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Keith Allen Joy, 147 Cedar Lane, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to distribute and held on a $75,000 surety bond.
* Robert James McFee, 728 Burning Springs Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license, having defective equipment and having no registration and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* McKenzie Nicole Dillon, 2809 1/2 28th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on transporting a controlled substance into a jail and held on a $5,000 surety bond.
* Ashton Brook Shotwell, 602 1/2 Hillcrest Terrace, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on a $25,000 surety bond.
* Billy Paul Burton, 2316 Highland Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault and destruction of property and held on a $25,000 surety bond.
* Tiffany Dawn Alexander, 1721 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card (warrant) and released on $5,000 surety bond. She was also arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
