Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 14-16:

* Nickea Blaine Leadmon, 904 Washington St., Ravenswood, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. Leadmon also pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $186.48. A charge of parking in a designated fire lane was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* James Rusty Wallace, c/o 891 Big Run Road, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law-enforcement, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of seven days for time served. A charge of obstruction and another charge of fleeing were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to fleeing/obstruction, fined $256.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation.

* Cidney Ann Nichols, 1801 19th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture, deliver or possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Chyanna Lynne Vancamp, 1212 28th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, greater than $500, and fined $176.48. She was ordered to pay a $1,646 civil penalty to Walmart in Parkersburg.

* Ira Blair Hyde, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Nia Marie Robinson, c/o 13605 North Peach Ridge Road, Athens, Ohio, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, second-offense trespassing, fined $852.96 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was credited as time served. Charges of disorderly conduct and failure to process were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Caitlyn D. Tallman, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level less than 0.15, battery of a police officer, battery of a health care worker, obstruction, fined $880.92 and sentenced to 120 days in jail with a credit of 11 days for time served. Charges of possession of a controlled substance, obstruction and battery of a police officer were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Richard Casey Collins, 2803 11th Ave., Vienna, had a charge of possession of fentanyl, more than 5 grams, dismissed as the case was indicted in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jesse Scott Books, 300 Fourth St., Apt. 14, Marietta, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* John Robert Fleming, 614 Lulu St., Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice, as the alleged victim does not want to prosecute.

* Robert Osborn Shepard, 480 State Route 555, Little Hocking, had a charge of violation of an emergency protective order dismissed without prejudice as there was a lack of evidence and insufficiency of the complaint filed.

* Jamiel Elam Lambert, 1703 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of an imitation controlled substance with intent to deliver, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation with terms and conditions at the Wood County Day Report Center.

* Earl James Gordon, 1023 George St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.

* Julie Ailes Miller, 846 Hughes Fork Road, Mount Zion, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $276.48.

* Kenneth D. Bauerbach, 590 Mitchell Lane, Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding in a work zone and fined $188.48.

* Larry Gene Munday Jr., 671 River Hill Road, Washington, W.Va, pleaded guilty to having a motor vehicle on an access site, having alcohol on an access site and fined $392.96.

* Keith Daniel Wright, 433 Canton St., East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48.

* David Joseph Allen Ball, 72170 Colerain Mt. Pleasant Road, Dillonvale, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.

* Reuben B. Foster, 7 Ball St., Apt. D, Newnan, Ga., pleaded no contest to obstructing officers (boating) and fined $201.48.

* Amy Nicole Lyons, 705 Hall St., Apt. #7, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction, disorderly conduct, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Jeffrey Allen Hamilton, 717 Hall St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an accident and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Robert Hiawatha Dickerson, 1005 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* James Earl Bee, 160 Ash Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of possession (warrant) and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Corey Frank Bonar, 447 Ranis Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Jordyn Marie Menking, 4833 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and driving on a suspended license and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Raymond Floyd Goodwin Jr., no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice and held pending a hearing in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Mark James Hinton, 109 Elm St., Belpre, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kathy Sue McDonald, 258 Hamilton Ridge Road, Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of permitting DUI and released on $1,500 surety bond.

* Alex Lamar Sollberger, 1334 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, battery of a corrections officer, failure to process, obstructing, being a pedestrian on a roadway going the wrong way, public intoxication and held on $3,000 surety bond.

* Edward Dwight Riggleman, 940 Williams St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $1,500 bond.

* Paul Anthony Welch, 4817 Crestview Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense domestic battery and second-offense domestic assault and held on $4,000 surety bond.

* Kevin Lee Mays, 6 Wills St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Bo Charles Brissey, 326 Twin Lakes Drive, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated DUI and carrying a deadly weapon while being under 21 and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Leah Lynn Nicholson, 32 Heaters Fork Road, Burnsville, was arraigned on charges of DUI, possession and improper registration and released on $2,500 surety bond.
