Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 11:
* Trevor Dean Smith, 97 Woodland Circle, Washington, pleaded guilty to speeding (60 mph in a 45 mph zone).
* Joshua Allen Miller, 618 Reed St. Apt 10, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $186.48. He had a charge of operating a vehicle without registration dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Chester Fredrick Carmack, 1121 E 12th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no operator’s license and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Chad Michael Wilson, No Address Given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County for charges of failure to appear and aggravated possession of drugs. He was held without bond until a bond hearing was held in Wood County Circuit Court.
* Micheal Kay Staats, 1912 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on $3,000 bond.
* Kaila Violetta Wright, 811 Wood St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in a placarded structure and held on $500 bond.
* Brandon Taylor Campbell, 45 Happy Valley Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of a stop sign violation and released on $200 bond.
* Justin Michael Johnson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $3,000 bond.
* Dustin Lyle Thompson, 610 Williams Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on a violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Samantha Jo Paugh, 704 Elm St. Apt. 11, Belpre, had three charges of third-offense shoplifting dismissed as the defendant was indicted on this charge by the Grand Jury in January 2025.
* Ryan Wayne Devore, 73 Helen Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.
* Jonathan Scott Nichols, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation with terms and conditions of rehab and the Day Report Center. A charge of strangulation was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Ryan Scott Watson, 608 Elder St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of an emergency protective order, fined $426.48, fined $426.48 and placed on 30 days home confinement with a credit on one day for time served. He had three counts of a violation of an emergency protective order dismissed with prejudice as the alleged violations occurred prior to the defendant being served with the order. A charge of violation of a protective order was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Ryan Matthew Rader, 331 Holly Drive, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $296.33 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Noah Webb Wells, 70 Thorn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $376.48.
* Katie Leigh Harris, 602 Wayside Farms Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense falsely reporting an emergency, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day credit for time served.
* Juan Vazquez, 208 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $481.48 and sentenced to two days in jail with a credit of 25 hours for time served. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Daniel Trevy Mowery, 4319 Richardsonville Road, Creston, W.Va., pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $376.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Isaac Gerald Goodwin, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $236.48. A charge of domestic battery was dismissed without prejudice.
* Alex Lamar Sollberger, 1334 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and obstruction with threats of harm, fined $362.96 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tasha Rae Rader, Elkhart, Ind., had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Aaron Patrick Fisher, 619 Grandview Ave., Steubenville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 12:
* Hunter Emerson Shank, Parkersburg, had charges of violation of a protective order and domestic battery dismissed with prejudice as the alleged victim is now deceased.
* Johnathan Farl Hamriek, 617 112 Market St. Apt. 3, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed. The defendant is serving a 10-year sentence in federal prison.
* Kelsey Frances Sampson, 18373 St. Rt. 339, Waterford, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $436.48 and sentenced to 11 days in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Jennifer Dawn McGrew, Elizabeth, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice. The alleged victim does not wish to prosecute.
* Levi William Barker, C/O 3506 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $226.48.
* Dustin Allen Santee, 480 Valley Mills Road, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to hunting without a license and fined $196.48. A charge of litter on the state park boundary was dismissed after Santee cleaned it up.
* Kenneth R. Keglas, 5916 Pearl Road, Parma Heights, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding (91 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $181.48.
* Brandon Ray Tomblin, 629 Holiday Park Drive, Salt Rock, W.Va., pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $362.96.
* Christopher Watson Smith, 1324 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a divided highway-crossing median or strip penalty, fined $362.96.
* Micheal Kay Staats, 1912 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing with reckless indifference causing injury and fleeing with reckless disregard and held on $100,000 bond. Staats was also arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Valerie Lynn Smith Rebholz, 534 Beeman Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI and having no insurance and released on $6,000 bond.
* Justin John Statler, 1306 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of forgery and uttering and held on $10,000 bond.
* Taylor Brooke Stansberry, 807 38th St., Vienna, was arraigned on two counts of being an inmate in possession of a weapon or drugs and released on $3,000 bond.
