Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 14:

* Derek Robert Chrisman, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense domestic assault/battery and violation of a protective order, fined $602.96 and sentenced to one year in jail with credit of 102 days for time served. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating the protective order which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Kaleb Phillipe Wardy, 51 Cirrus Drive, Elkview, pleaded guilty to a fishing license violation and fined $196.48.

* Richard Robert Sanders, 935 28th St., Huntington, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Maurice Burton, 213 Oak St., Parkersburg, had probable cause found for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. A charge of grand larceny was dismissed after the alleged victim did not appear in court.

* Justin Michael Johnson, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and public intoxication and fined $367.96.

* Timothy James Brown, 1235 Johnson Road, Marietta, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed without prejudice.

* Breanna Mae Harris, 4041 1/2 Old St. Rt. 56 Upper B, New Marshfield, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and having no insurance and fined $572.96.

* David Michael Mullins, 133 Sams St., Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Bradley Hall Anderson, 647 13th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $196.48. Charges of having expired motor vehicle registration and having no insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement, and after proof was presented.

* Timothy Lee Rogers, 3202 Custer St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to accidents involving damage to a vehicle, fined $851.97 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jason Lee Caplinger, 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* Bryan Lee Shupp, 3616 Stella St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving on a suspended license and having improper registration, fined $512.96 and sentenced to 30 days home confinement with a credit of one day for time served. Charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having no insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* James Lee Hall, Parkersburg, had a charge of third-offense domestic assault/battery dismissed after the alleged victim was not present in court.

* Brenda K. Roberts, 504 15th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Matthew Ryan Settle, 3810 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Matthew P. Arnold, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault and released on $2,000 bond.

* David Allen Rexroad, 809 Emerson Ave. Apt. C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and released on $25,000 bond.

* Stoney Gene Riley, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and held on $200 bond.

* Jarrett Mark Adams, 3214 Little Creek, Leroy, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Chyanna Lynne Vancamp, 1212 28th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Billy Roy Myers, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and obstructing and released on bond.

* Michael David Enoch, 607 33rd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having expired motor vehicle registration and fined $457.96.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 15:

* Lakyn Mackenzie Ayers, 415 Henderson Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and placed on 30 days of home confinement.

* Cidney Ann Nichols, 1801 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on an expired license and failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance and fined $557.96. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed after it was determined the substance was not a controlled substance.

* Nathan Edgar Caplinger, 31 Westview Way, Parkersburg, had a charge of strangulation dismissed without prejudice as further investigation is needed.

* Amber Nicole Williams, 87 Lanham Lane, Davisville, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of an access device, fined $434.02 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Valerie Lynn Rebholz-Smith, 534 Beeman Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $351.48 and sentenced to two days in jail with a credit of one day for time served.

* Haylee Leannda Allen, 248 Lick Run Road, Walker, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Darrell Antonio Hughes, 1184 East 18th Ave., Columbus, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Amber Pauline Murphy, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She had charges of obstruction with threats of harm and battery dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Clarence Anderson Roush, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and domestic assault, fined $352.96 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with terms and conditions. He had charges of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm (due to a prior felony) and wanton endangerment involving a firearm dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Joshua Jordan Lesher, 491 Blennerhassett Hts. Apt. 102, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting and public intoxication and fined $382.96. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to 7-11.

* Justin Michael McPherson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery, obstruction and two counts of battery of a police officer and released on $10,000 bond.

* Savannah N. Welch, 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Eric Leon Parkins, 1900 Stevens St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on four counts of fraudulent use of an access device and released on $8,000 bond.

* Tonia Dawn Westenfeld, 708 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction, disorderly conduct, petit larceny and failure to process and held on $6,000 bond.

* Brandon Kyle Rutherford, 111 Santee Dr., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* David Andrew Scott, 283 Cedar Lane, Louisa, Ky., was arraigned on charges of assault on a police officer, battery of EMS, indecent exposure and obstruction and held on $300,000 bond.

* Tammy Renee Carter, 231 Pleasant Colony Dr., Evans, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of aggravated DUI, second-offense DUI, obstructing, having no proof of insurance and failure to report an accident and released on $3,000 bond.

* Joni Davis, 1011 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and released on $100 bond.

* Whitney Sue Nelson, 343 Hardy Hts, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of having a bicycle on a controlled access highway and released on $100 bond.

* Nathan Andrew Ford, 1047 Stephens Fork Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of speeding and released on $100 bond.
