Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 30:
* Judith Dawn Hernandez, 1220 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Robert David Clark, 904 1/2 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $500 bond.
* Samantha Martin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and released on $1,000 bond.
* Isacc Isaiah Hildreth, 6485 Woodbrook Road, Albany, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Larry Edward Pickens, 3211 25th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI and obstruction and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lesley A. Trippett, 87 Green Hill Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on $1,000 bond.
* Billy James Peck, 1041 24th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense DUI and released on $5,000 bond.
* Deshawn Derese Nelson Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction (providing a false statement) and released on $500 bond.
* Blair Elizabeth Swindells, 1124 East Poplar St., Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $500 bond.
* Paul Wilson Cumberledge, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.
* Tracy Louise Estep, 2212 36th St. Apt. , Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and obstruction (providing a false statement) and released on $1,000 bond.
* Jacob Gordon Linville,Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of child abuse resulting in injury and released on $5,000 bond.
* Heather Cheyenne Still, C/O 2108 Maxwell Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and held on $50,000 bond.
* Samantha Jo Hornheck, 2613 1/2 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle dismissed.
* Corey Hunter, C/O 1007 12th St., Vienna, had a charge of fourth-degree arson dismissed without prejudice. The alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Amber Elizabeth Hawkins, 2303 Middle Hill Road, Waverly, had a charge of possession of marijuana dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement. She also had a charge of having no operator’s license dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Sherman Lee McPherson, 129 Star Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a first-offense of a sex offender registration violation (false or inaccurate information). The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 31-Jan. 2:
* Samantha Danielle Crouch, 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.
* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907 Pike St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
* Patrick Seymour Lacey, 1007 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed after proof was presented to officials.
* Jeremy Clark Simmons, 406 Harris Ferry Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to failure to obtain a Class N resident and Class NN nonresident anterless deer hunting stamp and fined $206.48.
* Michael Anthony Crytser, 215 11th St. Apt. 2A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Wyatt Alan Husk, 203 Oak St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond.
* Isacc Isaish Hildreth, Albany, Ohio, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation.
* Anni Jo Richards, 4904 2nd Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to participate in substance abuse treatment.
* Ashton Leigh Bungard, 4425 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $711.48 and sentenced to two days in jail with a credit of one day for time served.
* Melissa Jo Jacobson, 714 Caroline Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Joshua Vince Ballesil, 4628 15th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $181.48. He was ordered to pay a $500 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Michael Keith Bass, 133 Market St. Apt 110, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $196.48. He was ordered to pay a $82.48 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Jerry Wayne Jarrell Jr., 41 Cody Drive, Ripley, pleaded guilty to failure to pay for gasoline, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Another charge of failure to pay for gasoline was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dennis Lee Mackey, 3516 Winding Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Morgan Marie Francis, 1107 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $407.96. He was ordered to pay a $578.46 to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Damon Rival Dobbins, 3324 Whitney Drive W, Tallahassee, Fla., pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $376.48.
* Tyler Chase Cafego, 1106 27th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation.
* Sandy S. Forman, 4439 Mariannes Ridge, Charlotte, N.C., pleaded guilty to having no driver’s license and fined $276.48. A charge of speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Kevin Shawn Phillips, 1497 Pennike Road, Murraysville, W.Va., pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $226.48.
* Adam Matthew Yarnell, 120 Harvest Drive Apt. 2, Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, reckless driving, fined $657.96 and sentenced to 90 days home confinement and 20 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Charges of breathing, inhaling or drinking certain intoxicating compounds and having no seat belt were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Lissa A. Hefner, 93 Emerald Drive, Davisville, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. Charges of having no insurance and improper registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Christopher Ryan Marshall, 265 St. Andrew Blvd., Belpre, pleaded guilty to DUI causing bodily injury, fined $831.48 and sentenced to one day home confinement.
* Desmond Latrell Self, 2055 Leblanc St., Lincoln Park, Mich., had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Dimple Kumar Chanamolu, 1039 Rector Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to stop and fined $181.48. Another charge of failure to stop for a stop sign as well as a charge of having no proof of insurance were dismissed.
