PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 5:
* April Breanne Smith, 1509 Covert St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operators license and fined $276.48. A charge of having an expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Stacie Mae Willis, 538 Marietta Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $140.48 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna
* Derek Andrew Hill, 685 Mitchells Lane, Marietta, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and having no insurance and fined $652.96. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of failure to maintain control was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Zachary Lee Huck, 440 Bear Creek Road, Lowell, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $186.48.
* Shelly Ray Davis, 1326 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing on a condemned structure and fined $286.48.
* Dakota Thomas Allerton, 1622 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and fined $486.48. He was order to do counseling for six months.
* Caleb Jabez Aluero Dacuyan, 4070 State Route 60, Marietta, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and having no insurance and fined $562.96.
* Christopher Eugene Malone, 1031 Welch Road, Cutler, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of having no registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Chase Michael Kiser, 1724 Forest Hill Drive, Vienna, had charges of battery and destruction of property dismissed without prejudice.
* Shanna Jane Thompson, 1810 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of violation of an emergency protective order dismissed without prejudice.
* Joshua Everlee Richards, 911 4th St., St. Marys, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice.
* Joseph Anthony Sams Sr., 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of attempt to commit a felony (burglary) and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and held on $150,000 bond.
* Toby Lee Blair, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of strangulation and burglary and held on $50,000 bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence order and held on $4,000 bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of unlawful restraint and held on $2,500 bond.
* Neil Curtis Connell, 431 Homestead Dr., Williamstown, pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* Matheau Sean Blair, 5410 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 6-8:
* Aaron Maverick Pepper, 505 30th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding (95 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $201.48.
* Belita Jane Thomas, 13011 Parkersburg Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to speeding (50 mph in a 25 mph zone) and fined $196.48.
* Joseph Owen Dooley, 12711 Gillespie Run Road, Petroleum, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Gregory Isiah Johns, 204 Tranquility Lane, Kenna, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate, having no insurance and fined $181.48.
* Maurice Burton, 213 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $10,000 bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a controlled substance and held on $150,000 bond.
* Hunter Joseph Kuhn, 710 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on $5,000 bond.
* Corey Hunter, 1007 12th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit fourth-degree arson and released on $7,500 bond.
* Haylee Leannda Allen, 248 Lick Run Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and held on $150,000 bond.
* Ryan Brett Francisco, 801 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery and destruction of property and released on $1,000
* Rhea Layel Lee, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Dante Shane Curtiss, 657 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of hunting from a motor vehicle, hunting without permission, conspiracy to violate chapter 20, illegal possession of wildlife (deer), obstruct/hinder DNR officer investigation and released on $2,500 bond.
* Jeffrey Neel Smith, PO Box 601, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license, driving too fast for roadway conditions and having no insurance and released on $600 bond.
* Rachel Susanne Flowers, 2701 Parkview Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $2,000 bond.
* David Eran Bailes, 185 Foxfire Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault (four counts), having an open container, DUI with a BAC, less than .150 and released on $2,600 bond.
* Paula Lynne Hadley, 5432 Schoolhouse Road, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of maintaining a vehicle for drug use and held on $1,500 bond.
* Mathew Wayne Adams, 6067 State Route 124, Long Bottom, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of DUI in an impaired state with a BAC of less then .150 and released on $500 bond.
* Jasmine Sue Rollyson, 710 Pine Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $1,000 bond.
* Michelle Carol Bennett, 2145 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and maintaining a dwelling for drug use and held on $11,000 bond.
* Robert Martin Shepherd, 1602 Core Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $326.48. He had a charge of having an unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Todd Justin Twyman, 2116 Liberty St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI, fined $231.48 and was placed on one year of home confinement with a credit of 24 days for time served.
* Joel Paul Inman, 801 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 12 days for time served. Another charge of violating a protective order was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Michael Andrew Cheek, 14 Wildwood Lane, Spencer, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 13 days for time served. He was ordered to undergo drug treatment. He was ordered to pay a $404.48 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 9:
* A preliminary hearing was waived against Kaydee Lynn Hall, 557 Buy Street, Parkersburg, on a charge of grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* A preliminary hearing was waived against Selena Marie-Hope Petrone, 1007 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, on two counts of child abuse. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* A preliminary hearing was waived against Thomas Mark Baker, 3501 Elm St. Apt. 6, Parkersburg, for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth and transporting a controlled substance, a Schedule I or II narcotic, into the state The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* A charge of violating a protective order was dismissed against Katie Lynne Merrill, 1011 25th St., Parkersburg, after the alleged victim did not want to pursue the case.
* Joseph Michael Grendel, 1595 Sun Valley Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $276.48.
* Robin Michael Plauche, 1100 12th St Apt. 14, Vienna, pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of hit-and-run was dismissed.
* John Robert Lyons, 1500 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, DUI, fined $537.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to attend a treatment program.
* Lonnie Eugene Potts, 93 Alfred Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and fined $196.48.
* Anthony Lee Scritchfield, 251 Belleville Drive, Belleville, pleaded guilty to second-offense domestic assault/battery, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months.
* Michelle Eileen Mirervini, 2503 Beverly St. Apt. 11C, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to 7-Eleven on Gihon Road in Parkersburg.
* Thomas Jeffrey Gajowski, Davisville, pleaded guilty to to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to attend a treatment program.
* Brandon Monroe Brown, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $376.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. A charge of attempt to commit a felony dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Samuel Cole Stewart, 661 East Maple St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to violating vehicle law on a rail trail and fined $196.48.
* Eva Marie Roton, 1119 17th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and fined $196.48.
* Joseph Lee Large, 1012 7th. St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to receiving/transferring stolen goods, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Sabrina Ila Swiney, 630 9th St, Marietta, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to attend a treatment program.
* Thomas Jeffrey Gajowski, Davisville, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $196.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907 Neal St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lela Ann Proudfoot, 566 Greenhills Road, Sandyville, was arraigned on charges of having no registration, driving on a suspended license, driving too fast for roadway conditions and having no insurance and released on $1,500 bond.
* Cortney Leigh Harris, 2103 44th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $500 bond.
* Austin Wayne Davis, 46 Davis Lane, Davisville, pleaded guilty to illegal broadhead for deer and fined $196.48. A charge of hunting deer during a closed season was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* John Chidozie Okeleke, 366 Richland Ave. Apt. 5103, Athens, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding (92 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $206.48.
* Gabriel McKenna Harmath, 2133 Valley View Drive, Rocky River, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding (91 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $206.48.
* Damien Angel Hall, 1204 14th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Reetha Louise Southall, 404 6th St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $181.48. She was ordered to pay a $514 civil penalty to Walmart in Vienna. She also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $362,96. She was ordered to pay a $412.48 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. She also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $362,96.
