Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 19:

* Auston Gaige Crouch, 2212 36th St. Apt. T, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having an unsecured load and third-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $552.96. Charges of having improper registration and having no proof of insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Johnny B. Roberts, 3714 East Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth dismissed.

* Caiden Lee Burke, 2608 26th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of third offense driving on a suspended license dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Darin Matthew Johnson, 311 Blennerhassett Ave., Belpre, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Billie Jo Richards, 914 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 45 days in jail which was suspended and was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Richards was ordered to pay a $138.96 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Nathaniel Earl McDonald, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. He was ordered to attend anger management classes.

* Jay Lee Comer, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fleeing from law enforcement, fined $377.96 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. He was ordered to pay a $1,498.00 civil penalty to the Rural King store in Parkersburg.

* Eric Gene Barber, 361 East Pine St., Davisville, had charges of operating a vehicle without evidence of registration and having no proof of insurance dismissed as the issues were fixed.

* Thomas Ogle Davis, 960 Starling Lane, Stockport, Ohio, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, less than $500, and fined $276.48. He was ordered to pay a $2,033.60 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Ashley Nicole Lockhart, 94 Old Nicholette Road, Mineral Wells, had a charge of shoplifting dismissed after she reimbursed the store. The state no longer wants to prosecute.

* Evelyn Renee Inman, 2510 21st Ave Apt. 5, Parkersburg, had charges of obstruction, public intoxication and child abuse by parent, guardian or custodian creating a risk of bodily injury dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Kristopher McKai Hogue, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic assault dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Desirae Arline Dawson, 1009 Lynn St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of meth dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Amy Dawn Larsen, 1423 1/2 20th St., Parkersburg, had two counts of possession of a controlled substance dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Mindi Sue Powell, 307 Seven Pines Road, Mineral Wells, had two counts of possession of a controlled substance dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Ashley Brooke Cottrill, 276 Wood St., Davisville, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Stacy Jean Curry, Smithville, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and destruction of property, fined $962.96 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. A charge of domestic battery was dismissed, per a plea agreement. Curry also pleaded guilty to improper disposal of waste and fined $286.48. A charge of improper disposal of litter, between 100 and 500 pounds, was dismissed, per a plea agreement. Curry also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $286.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Anita Marie True, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as the alleged victim failed to appear in court.

* Joshua Paul Pepper, 35 Farr St., Petroleum, pleaded guilty to joyriding, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. A charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Ashley Michelle Waggoner, 131 23rd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. She also has to continue treatment services. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Wayne Hutson, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fleeing, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year as he continues treatment. He had a charge of having no proof of insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Christopher Jay Richards, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation. A charge of unlawful disposal of litter was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation. The sentences will run concurrently.

* Matthew Brian Mauzy, 5204 13th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state, fined $481.48 and sentenced to one day in jail which was ruled as time served. He had a charge of striking an unattended vehicle dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Robert Alan Patton, 76 Wildwood Dr. Apt. 103, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $351.48 and sentenced to 10 days of home confinement.

* Mitchell Allan Edwards, 851 Eli Locust Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $181.48. He was ordered to pay a $175.40 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Josiah Martin Luther Renn, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation.

* Ronald Lee Boyd, 7641 Pike St. Lot 20 C, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48

* Bryan Jonathan Bailey, 2503 Beverly St. Apt. 5C, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Kayla Dawn Staats, 79 Thorn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of petit larceny and fined $276.48.

* Aleea K. Hutson, 34 Orange Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Makenzie Ranae Taylor, 810 Grandview St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.

* Ryan Lee Reynolds, 313 E. Maple Ave., Fayetteville, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and fined $276.48.

* Kayla M. Rogers, 801 1/2 Front St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Jesse Lee Legg, 1013 27th St. Apt. 8, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl) and transporting fentanyl into the state and held on $150,000 bond.

* Thomas Mark Baker, 3501 Elm St. Apt. 6, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl) and transporting fentanyl into the state and held on $150,000 bond.

* Adam Craig Harvey, 1408 1/2 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $3,000 bond.

* Zachery Lee Dunham, 1804 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, striking an unattended vehicle and failure to report an accident and released on bond.

* Peter Brook Wharton, 1722 20th St., Parkerburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.
