PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 24:
* Richard Gene Ballengee, 826 Dickel Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on $500 bond.
* Andrew Adam Crites, 1008 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on $5,000 bond.
* Joshua Shawn Williams, 2602 11th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of improper registration, driving on a suspended license, driving on a revoked license for DUI, fleeing with reckless indifference and attempting to commit an offense and held on $27,000 bond.
* Breanna M. Harris, 4041 1/2 Old State Route 56 Upper B, New Marshfield, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident and released on $500 bond.
* Shanna Jane Thompson, 1810 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Issiah Edward Sayre, 12652 State Route 676, Waterford, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Joshua Everlee Richards, 911 Fourth St., St. Marys, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $2,000 bond.
* Jimmy Duane Dailey, 403 11th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 12 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 30 days of unsupervised probation.
* Jeffery Lee Choney, 62 Buckingham Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Kathy L. Smith, 1316 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having expired registration and fined $362.96. She also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* William Brian Gabbert, 487 Wake Robin Trail, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $226.48

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 25-27:
* Charles Scott Simonds, 301 7th St., Apt. C, Parkersburg, had a charge of false pretenses dismissed.
* Joseph Anthony Sams, 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $176.48 and placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Colton Daniel Church, 13 Spruce St., Elizabeth, had probable cause found for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jason Curtis Harkness, 921 Moyer Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of strangulation without prejudice dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear.
* Autumn Marie Gloeckner, 991 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $10,000 bond.
* Christopher Lee Bohn, 647 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI and having no insurance and released on $2,500 bond.
* Jahbree Elijahdel Sheppard, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,500 bond.
* Travis Michael Gwynn, 1302 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $1,000 bond.
* Brandon Lee Baker, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $2,500 bond.
* Ryan A Williams, 1204 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having no MVI sticker and released on $250 bond.
* Ronald Aaron Sartin II, 508 E 12th Ave., Ranson, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license, having no proof of insurance, second-offense driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $1,500 bond.
* Caleb Jabez Aluero Dacuyan, 4070 St. Route 60, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of failure to maintain control and having no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* William Webster Sprague, 906 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no operators license and leaving the scene of an accident and released on $500 bond.
* Joshua Michael Conger II, 706 1/2 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a protective order and released on $1,500 bond.
* Brandon Michael Burdette, 218 Chesterville Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and second-offense shoplifting (capias) and held on $600 bond.
* Brayden Trey Lucas, 306 Five Mile Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Andrew David Cooper, 6827 Elizabeth Pike, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. He pleaded guilty to another charge of speeding and fined $191.48.
* Gavin Derrick Lemley, 316 Northwood Villa, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone, less than 15 mph in excess, and fined $226.48.
* Teresa Michelle Moore, 3702 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 28:
* Eric Azan Henry, 1234 Route 217, Hudson, N.Y., pleaded guilty to speeding (92 mph in a 70 mph zone), having no proof of insurance and fined $572.96.
* Dylan Cole Hall, 115 South Hazel St., Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to speeding (91 mph in a 65 mph zone) and fined $206.48.
* Trey Alexander Whitlock, 602 Pearl St., Belmont, pleaded guilty to speeding (100 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $206.48.
* Philip Wayne Duley, 1110 17th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of breaking and entering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Raymond Michael Adkins, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation.
* Damon Thomas Brannon, 904 1/2 Hawthorne St., Parkershurg, had probable cause found for a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Mark Anthony Martino, 4425 17th Ave., Parkersburg, had probable cause found for a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Lindsey Dawn Davidson, 122 Rolling Hills Court, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams, dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Shaylene Devion Fordyce, 6168 Elizabeth Pike, Elizabeth, had two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement. Another charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Teah Sheyenne Somerville, 1095 Merrick St., Parkersburg, had a charge of driving while an impaired state, with a BAC of less than .15, dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Nickalas Arthur Tewkesbury, 603 Marrtown Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Jessica Lynn Crockett, 133 Goff Hollow Road, Elizabeth, had a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license dismissed as the state does not wish to pursue. It is also part of a pending plea.
* Andrea Lynn Gibbs, 133 Center Barcel, Mason, had a preliminary hearing waived on eight counts of possession of counterfeit or unauthorized access device with intent to defraud. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Ashton A. Hutson, 1420 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having defective equipment and fined $186.48. He had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jeffrey Jettis Brown, 650 13th St., Apt #1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of transporting a controlled substance into a correctional facility and held on $2,500 bond.
* Jake Hollie McKinney, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Giles County, Virginia, on a charge of a probation violation for previous charges of breaking and entering, grand larceny and resisting arrest. He was held on no bond.
* Thomas L. Ferriott, no address given, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and unlawful restraint and released on $1,500 bond.
* Robert Lee Hysell Jr., 2605 Broad St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to pay child support and held on $3,000 bond.
* Jordan D Slider, 193 Power Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having an expired MVI sticker and having no proof of insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Jakeb Michael Bailey, 2005 Willard Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having expired registration, having no insurance and driving on a suspended license.

* Dana Adam Pierson, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Michael Anthony Crytser, 215 11th St. Apt. 2A, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm due to a controlled substance conviction.
* Justin Charles Bigley, 1206 Swann St., Parkersburg, had a charge of having expired registration dismissed, per a plea agreement. A charge of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle was dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Sard Melvin Williams, 46 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license, fined $276.48 and sentenced 30 days in jail after an unsuccessful 24-month deferred sentence agreement.
* Steven Tyler Davidson, 1345 Market St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (89 mph in a 70 mph zone) and having no motorcycle endorsement and fined $362.96.
* Austin James Parker, Mineral Wells, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim failed to appear.
* Keenan Spencer Slampak, 1808 29th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of speeding, driving on a suspended license and fined $457.96.
* Christopher Allen Hines, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, fined $201.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Jonathon Lee Nutter, Parkersburg, had charges of domestic battery (two counts) and domestic assault dismissed as the charge will be refiled as a felony.
* Scott Frank Breiding, 1595 Sun Valley Road, Washington, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state, fined $361.48 and sentenced to 14 hours in jail.
* Christopher Colt Whisnant, 1707 37th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to improper registration and turning movements and fined $362.96. Charges of having no insurance were dismissed per a plea agreement.
* Angela Dawn Backus, 313 Kanawha Way, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48.
* Alexandria Nicole Anderson, 413 East 8th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $216.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She also pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation
* Donald Eugene Powell Jr., 509 Elder St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to improper registration and fined $416.48. He had a charge of having no insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain vehicle insurance and driving on a suspended license and fined $692.96. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Eric Shane Vest, 1009 11th Ave. Apt #6, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $2,000 bond.
* Jonathon Lee Nutter, 1306 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of wanton endangerment and child abuse and released on $10,000 bond.
* Ronald E. Robinson, 1717 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and released on $2,500 bond.
* Christopher Wayne Fox, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,500 bond.
* Christopher Colt Whisnant, 1102 18th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to charges of driving on a suspended license and having expired registration and fined $457.96.
* Steven Garrett Ernest, 51 Savory St., Elkins, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Melissa Sue Dailey, 3898 Butcher Bend Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to a redlight violation and fined $186.48.
