Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Sept. 24:
* Jennie Marie Burdette, 4400 Grand Central Ave. Apt 1, Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI and driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $432.96 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail which was ruled as time served. She was also sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. Charges of leaving the scene of an accident, obstruction with threats of harm and going left of center with vehicle damage were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Taylor Davis Lee, 1967 Kesterson Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI while impaired with a BAC of less than .15, fined $591.48 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Sarah Ashley Wilson, 1017 18th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 15 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Marshall Gauge Nelson, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $176.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg. He had a charge of obstruction dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Austin James Parker, 600 Sycamore Run Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Shana Joy Yopp, 2106 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to keeping premises for controlled substance use, fined $286.48 and sentenced to one year in jail and placed on two years of unsupervised probation.
* Eric Andrew Mays, 1723 16th Ave., Parkersburg, had two counts of a violation of a protective order dismissed.
* Codi Diane Hutchinson, 392 Dublin Dr., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $462.96
* Steven Nathaniel Hutson, 1010 Johnson Run Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to simple assault, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Hunter Wayne Starcher, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to brandishing deadly weapons and domestic assault, fined $362.96 and sentenced to six months in jail, 12 months of unsupervised probation and has to undergo substance abuse treatment for 12 months. He had a charge of wanton endangerment with a firearm dismissed, per a plea agreement
* Jordan Ray Stewart, 2501 Dudley Ave. Apt. 7A, Parkersburg, had a charge of malicious or unlawful assault dismissed after the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Brice Weston Lawson, Parkersburg, had a charge of third-offense domestic assault dismissed.
* Damon Thomas Brannan, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed.
* Jarron Nathaniel Farnsworth, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail with a credit of seven days for time served. He had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed, per plea agreement.
* Kristy Ann Conley, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue.
* James Adam Leek, 1503 Cale St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed with prejudice. He is in treatment and the case is over three years old.
* Larry Michael Snider, c/o 39 Stump Dr., Sutton, W.Va., pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to do treatment at Westbrook.
* Randy Lyn White Jr., 14790 McClane Pike, Red House, W.Va., had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed as the state no longer wished to prosecute.
* Justin Clark Lane, 2420 Valley Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $474.68 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of two days for time served.
* Edward Wayne Houk Jr., 824 Lakeview Dr., Parkersburg, had a charge of assault dismissed with prejudice after the alleged victim was not present in court.
* William Douglas Shaffer, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty to the Piggly Wiggly store on Plum Street in Parkersburg.
* Sheila Lynn Butler, Belpre, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not want to pursue after the defendant has completed treatment.
* Joshua Ryan Muntz, 718 Lakeview Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart.
* William Douglas Shafter, 1328 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $55.36 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Ann Street in Parkersburg.
* Carl Anthony Flowers, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48
* Brian Keith Drain, 1617 Willoushby Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to having no motorcycle endorsement and fined $181.48.
* Amy Lee Grosselin, 1316 Oxbow Road, Belpre, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* James Albert Lipscomb, 1003 13th Ave. Apt. #6, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $1,000 bond.
* Sheena Marie Kerns, 411 Elder St. #2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting, less than $500, and released on $750 bond.
* Joshua Edward Radabaugh, 61 North Meadowlark Dr., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Brittany Marie Buckley, 27335 St. Rt. 7 Lot 42, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Kaleb Phillipe Wardy, 500 Green Valley Dr. #117, Elkview, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of fishing without a license and released on $1,000 bond.
* Carter Michael Reynolds, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery, domestic assault and unlawful restraint and released on $5,000 bond.
* Jimmy Duane Dailey, 403 11 St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property, disorderly conduct and public intoxication and held on $1,500 bond.
