Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Jan. 6:

* Jason Scott Drake, 49, 4012 Shelving Rock, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to improper registration, no insurance and driving left of center and was assessed $725.75 in court costs and fines.

* Denver D. Starcher, 44, 3495 Munday Road, Elizabeth, pleaded no contest to failure to obtain a permit for excess weight and size and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jacob Nile Moore, 27, 2260 Murray St., Apt. C, Belpre, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Buddy Walter Greene, 38, 4300 10th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to three counts of prohibited person with a firearm and was sentenced to six months of home confinement per charge, to be served consecutively. Four counts of prohibited person with a firearm were dismissed, and he was assessed $510.75 in court costs and fines.

* Crystal Marie Groves, age unknown, 1608 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was assessed $220.25 in court costs and fines. Charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct were dismissed.

* A driving under the influence charge was dismissed for David Allen Parker, 39, 601 33rd St., Parkersburg.

* John Alan Kelley, 39, 1909 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license and was sentenced to 90 days of home confinement. A driving under the influence charge was dismissed.

* A domestic battery charge was dismissed for Marquette Lorenzo Bannerman, 31, 880 Red Hill Road, Apt. 106, Parkersburg.

* Joshua Caleb Lallathin, 30, 401 Union St., Paden City, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart. He was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines.

* A strangulation charge was dismissed for Denzil Wayne Dowler, 37, 1007 12th St., Vienna.

* A retaliation against a public official charge was dismissed for John Lee Herald, 56, 98 Rubes Hollow Road, Cedar Grove.

* Ashley Marie Wynn, 31, 1235 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fleeing from an officer. For the trespassing charge, she was sentenced to jail for 30 days, suspended for one year of probation. For the fleeing charge, she was sentenced to jail for 60 days. Two counts of trespassing were dismissed and she was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* A driving with a revoked license charge was dismissed for Deanna Marie Lott, 41, 411 Tanner Lane, Walker; the arresting officer did not appear.

* Shannon James White, 38, 6082 Newark Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and driving too fast for road conditions and was sentenced to jail for 20 days. Charges of driving left of center and two counts of operating a vehicle without a seatbelt were dismissed, and she was assessed $350.50 in court costs and fines.

* Samantha D. Crouch, 25, 906 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines. A trespassing charge was dismissed.

* John Eugene Sams, 40, 89 Comer St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer and driving with a revoked license. For the fleeing charge, he was sentenced to jail for 60 days and for the driving revoked charge, he was sentenced to jail for 30 days to be served concurrently. Charges of possession of a controlled substance, five counts of violation of a protective order and obstructing an officer were dismissed, and he was assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines.

* Jeremy Eugene O’Brien, 37, 331 Hill Road, Cutler, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was ordered to pay a $966 civil penalty to Walmart. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

* Mark Allen Cunningham, 48, 10988 Smithville Road, pleaded guilty to trespassing and was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines.

* Michael Andrew Hudson, 33, 905 Fourth St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to jail for 12 hours, served. Charges of no insurance and reckless driving were dismissed, and he was assessed $345.25 in court costs and fines.

* Zane Derickson Ullmann, 21, 708 Hill St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to brandishing a deadly weapon and unlawful restraint and for each charge, was sentenced to jail for one year, suspended for two years of probation. A domestic assault charge was dismissed, and he was assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines.

* Lacinda Danielle McClung, 42, 3814 Calf Creek Road, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines. A no insurance charge was dismissed.

* Matthew Clifford Dailey, 54, 2700 New York Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct and was sentenced to jail for 60 days, suspended for six months of probation. Two counts of obstructing an officer and failing to fingerprint were dismissed, and he was assessed $350.50 in court costs and fines.

* Sandra Marie Hammond, 59, 347 Palhurst Plaza, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Adoniram Defibaugh, 50, 1712 Park St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of an unsigned registration card, a wide right turn, simple possession and improper braking and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Julie A. Bailes, 32, 2505 Vaughan Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of selling alcohol to someone under 21 and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Malinda Dawn Vandergrift, 47, 1000 Kemper St., Apt. 7, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny and shoplifting and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Lee Ann Charlton, 39, 2204 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and is being held on a $2,500 surety bond.

* James Douglas Key, 44, 1415 Covert St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and is being held on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Jamie Lee Jordan, 36, 28 Rose St., Lot 66 North, New Martinsville, was arraigned on four counts of failure to register as a sex offender and is being held on a $20,000 surety bond.

* Dakota Jack Leisure, 22, 1209 Grandview St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a violation of a protective order charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* John Lee Herald, 56, P.O. Box 184, Cedar Grove, was arraigned on a violation of a protective order charge and is being held on a $3,000 surety bond.
