Wood Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled recently in Wood County Circuit Court:

* Stacey Nicole McConaha, 44, 1017 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was sentenced before Judge Robert Waters to one year with 104 days credit for time served for keeping or maintaining a residence for the purpose of keeping a controlled substance, 2-10 years for delivery of a controlled substance and 3-15 years for possession of a controlled substance. Sentences will be served consecutively on home confinement as he will continue drug treatment.

* William Roscoe Sayles III, 62, 1341 Brandywine Place Apt. 315, Zanesville, pleaded guilty before Judge Jason Wharton to fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless disregard. Sentencing has been delayed.

* Richard Lee Treadway, 45, 1331 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded not guilty before Wharton to entering without breaking and conspiracy to commit entering without breaking. Trial will be set at a later date.

* Chevelle Brianne Sarver, 35, 819 Warren St., Marietta, pleaded guilty before Wharton to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 2-10 years in state prison with 207 days credit for time served. Motionsfor alternative sentencing were denied. He was ordered to pay $277 in court costs.

* Nathan C. Strickler, 34, 1454 Rector Road, Vienna, pleaded guilty before Judge Wharton to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. A motion was made for alternative sentencing and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1.

* Helga R. Olafardottir, 25, 1211 Williams St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Waters to conspiracy to commit robbery. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is 9 a.m. Nov. 29.

* Joseph Anthony Sams Sr., 28, 1329 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Judge Waters to unlawful assault. Sentencing is 9 a.m. Nov. 2.

* Brittany Nicole Melrose, 22, 50 Royal Gardens Apt. 24, Mineral Wells, had her probation revoked and was sentenced by Waters to 1-3 years with a credit of 431 days for time served on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

* Emilee V. Farra, 29, 3605 Liberty St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Wharton to conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The court deferred sentencing for a 60 day diagnostic evaluation.

* Nathan Corey Stickler, 34, 1454 Rector Road, Vienna, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Motions were made for alternative sentencing and a pre-sentencing investigation was ordered. Sentencing is 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1.

* Rebeka Roberts, 48, 638 Bear Run Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty before Wharton to embezzlement. He was sentenced to 1-10 years in state prison. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on seven years of probation with 120 days credit for time served. She also is not allowed to work in the home healthcare field. She was given a $277 probation fee and ordered to make $200 a month restitution payments.

* Brandi Nichole Mackey, 35, 706 Neal St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Waters to fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference and possession of a controlled substance. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered. She will be allowed to continue drug treatment. Sentencing is 1 p.m. Nov. 4.
