Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Feb. 4:

* Richard Lee Huffman, 58, 517 Olive St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to appear and bond was set at $1,500 surety.

* Joseph Harrison Perkins, 63, 1617 Sugarcreek Drive, Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and bond was set at $1,000 surety.

* Joshua Kenneth Murphy, 33, 1247 Little Kanawha Parkway, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and littering and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jacqueline Marie White, 32, 1123 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and trespassing and was released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Heather Dawn Foggin, 37, 154 Onward Road, Williamstown, was found guilty on charges of reckless driving, speed limitation, unsafe lane changes and improper use of registration. A not guilty verdict was found for charges of speeding limitations, driving too fast for conditions and following too closely. She was assessed $400.50 in court costs and fines.

* Matthew David Sadler, 33, c/o 540 College Parkway Apt. 114, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting and already served jail time concurrently with a different charge. One count of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed. He was ordered to pay a $214.38 civil penalty to Walmart and was assessed $350.50 in court costs and fines.

* Lujuana Louis Streigle, 33, 204 Dale St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was ordered to pay $266.12 in civil penalty to Walmart and was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines.

* Aloha Rose Lambert, 34, 608 Charles St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a police officer and was sentenced to jail for 30 days and was credited for 10 days served. A charge of obstructing an officer was dismissed and she was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Justin Guy Nelson, 27, 409 1/2 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a police officer and was sentenced to jail for 30 days, suspended for one year of probation with credit for one day served. He was ordered to continue with the Day Report Center and to seek treatment through Westbrook. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Travis Allen Scarbrough, 22, 71 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and four counts of violation of a protective order. He was sentenced to jail for one day, already served. Three counts of violation of a protective order were dismissed and he was assessed $1,691 in court costs and fines.

* Russell Norman Hinzman, 36, 413 8th St., Parkersburg, House to Home, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was sentenced to jail for 75 days, served. A charge of fleeing from an officer was dismissed and he was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Robin M. Mowery, 45, 1614 Pearcy St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was bound over to Circuit Court.

* A charge of a threat to commit a terrorist act was dismissed for Gary Michael Clark, 71, 5799 Spender Road, Liverpool, as he was indicted by the January 2021 grand jury.

* A grand larceny charge was dismissed for Jeremy Thomas Allen, 30, 814 Race St., Parkersburg. He was already indicted.

* Alphrin Arnett Norman, 27, 2305 Locust St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and was sentenced to probation for two years, suspended for six months of probation. A charge of violation of a protective order was dismissed and Norman was assessed $420.25 in court costs and fines.

* George Russell Weigand, 30, 133 45th St., Canton, pleaded guilty to providing a place or structure for the use of controlled substances by others and was sentenced to jail for one year and was credited for 145 days served. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.
