Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports on Jan. 28:

* Ethan Keith Chase, 19, 14 North Ritchie Ave. Apt. 9 B, Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to no insurance and was assessed $370.25 in court costs and fines.

* Sean Patrick Massey, 58, 39 Palhurst Court, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to driving in an impaired state and was sentenced to jail for 23 hours.

* Lester Lee Stewart Jr., 38, 1022-1 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fleeing from an officer. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed. Stewart was ordered to pay a $400.50 civil penalty to Wal-Mart and was assessed $263.62 in court costs and fines.

* Michael Anthony Forman, 40, P.O. Box 574, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and his time was served for that charge. He also pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and for that charge, he was sentenced to jail for 60 days, suspended for 18 months of probation and was ordered to report to Westbrook. He was assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines.

* Angela Christine Wallace, 53, 4247 Williamstown Pike Apt. 205, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing on a property other than structure and was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

* Dakota Leighann Riel, 24, 19 Honeysuckle Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to driving with a revoked license and possession of a controlled substance. They were sentenced to jail for 30 days for the driving with a revoked license charge which was already served. For the possession charge, they were sentenced to one year of probation, suspended for 90 days and were ordered to report to the Report Center. They were assessed $440.50 in court costs and fines.

* Jacob Allen Loiseau, 33, 245 Maple Shades Court, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of driving with a revoked license and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Lawrence Martin Brown, 32, 1117 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* George Lee Carpenter II, 41, 51 Lantana Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of stolen property, driving with a suspended license and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He is being held on a $15,000 surety bond.

* Dante K. Frazier, 29, 1022 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was renewed on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Codi Lee Douglas, 25, 713 Lilly Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of a prohibited person with a firearm and was released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Nathan Andrew Bunner, 36, 6285 Frost Road, Coolville, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and breaking and entering and is being held on a $65,000 surety bond.

* Taylor Cheyenne Starcher, 20, 1018 E. 12th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a grand larceny charge and is being held on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Russell W. Erb, 26, 100 Bethel Road, Marietta, was arraigned on two counts of indecent exposure, second degree arson and breaking and entering and is being held on a $102,000 surety bond.

* James Franklin Sams, 37, c/o 5027 Elmwood Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and was sentenced to jail for 30 days, suspended for one year of probation with credit for five days served. He was ordered to seek treatment through Westbrook and was assessed $430.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jennifer Rose Hopkins, 25, 800 Jackson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to brandishing deadly weapons and was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for one year of probation with credit for one day served. An assault charge was dismissed and she was assessed $220.25 in court costs and fines.

* Sandra Marie Hammond, 58, 347 Palhurst Plaza, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for six months of probation and was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Brendan Neil Hinzman, 34, 910 Core Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and no insurance. Charges of improper registration and no insurance were dismissed and he was assessed $640.50 in court costs and fines.

* Mark Stephen Furner, 54, 1115 Homewood Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to the impersonation of a law enforcement officer and prohibited person with a firearm. He was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for one year or probation with credit for one day served. He was ordered to seek treatment through Westbrook and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Stephanie Ann Whaley, 32, 1115 15th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to jail for 30 days, suspended for one year of probation.
