Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Jan. 22:

* Keisha M. Salyers, 34, 49 Brown Ave. Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a petit larceny charge and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Christopher A. Streight, 34, 221 South Sixth St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and driving with a suspended license and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Chad Eric Lawson, 44, 1787 Standing Stone Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of driving with a revoked license for driving under the influence and a traffic control device. He was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Justin Kyle Wendelken, 32, 1108 Edwin St., Parkersburg, last known address, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent and related activity to an access device and was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Larry R. Pemberton, 52, 599 Big Run Road, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of permitting driving under the influence and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* James Franklin Sams, 37, 5027 Elmwood Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was released on a 4500 personal recognizance bond.

* Melvin Romeo, 43, 801 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arranged on two counts of a worthless check and is a fugitive from justice out of Tazewell Va.

* Daniel Judd Dobson, 30, 1000 Kemper St. Apt. 9, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six months of probation. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Kevin Earnest Heaton, 49, 41936 Connolly Road, Reedsville, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and was sentenced to 18 months of probation, suspended for 60 days of probation and was ordered to seek anger management. Five counts of violation of a protective order were dismissed and he was assessed $420.25 in court costs and fines.

* Damon Thomas Brannan, 48, 2602 26th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was sentenced to jail for six months, served. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed.

* Two counts of sexual abuse by a parent were dismissed against Norman D. Holcomb Jr., 58, P.O. Box 143 Belpre. He was directly indicted.

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Jan. 25:

* Tiffany Wheaton, 28, 1529 20th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Alphrin Arnett Norman, 27, 2305 Locust St. Apt. 4, Belpre, was arraigned on charges of two counts of violation of a protective order and possession of fentanyl with the intent to deliver and is being held on a $11,500 surety bond.

* Austin Carl Bee, 20, 77 Michigan St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* George L. Carpenter Jr., 41, 601 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor and was released on a $4,500 surety bond.

* Daniel Woods-Blackwell, 30, 2616 Tilton Road, Egg Harbor Township, N.J., was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Joseph C. Cox, 31, 49 Park Drive, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and was released on a $1,500 cash bond.

* Lindsay Marie George, 21, 2180 Oak Grove Ext. Road, St. Marys, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and driving impaired. She was released on a $1,500 cash bond.

* Aloha Rose Lambert, 34, 608 Charles St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer and obstructing an officer and is being held on a $2,500 cash bond.

* Rachael Lee Davis, 32, 506 42nd St., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived for charges of entry of building other than dwelling and fourth degree arson.

* Christopher Robert Farnsworth, 44, 4316 14th Ave. Apt. 21, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to jail for 96 hours. He was assessed $345.25 in court costs and fines.

* Robert Jeremy Ranson, 35, 436 Sixth St., Traverse City, Mich., pleaded guilty to brandishing deadly weapons, threatening or causing breach of the peace and obstructing an officer. He was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for sixth months of probation. Charges of following too closely and stopping stranding or parking were dismissed and he was assessed $520.75 in court costs and fines.

* Carl Lee Martin II, 33, 710 28th St., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived for charges of fourth degree arson and the entry of a building other than dwelling.

* Jonathan Mark Thomas, 53, 1018 Cornwall St. Apt. 5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and is being held on a $250 cash bond.

* Gerald Allen Johnson Jr., 39, 141 Pine Ave., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Garry Lee Mackey, 55, 706 Neal St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reporting a false emergency and public intoxication and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Dennis Odell Schott, 62, 1106 18th St., Vienna, was arranged on a wanton endangerment charge and was released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Thomas Lane Smith, 40, 807 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of two counts of fraudulent use of an access device, grand larceny and entry of automobile and was released on a $7,500 surety bond.
