Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases Nov. 14:

* Eric Townsend, 39, 312 Red Hill Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty on a charge of failure to appear and was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* David Thomas, 22, apartment 12-B North Ritchie Avenue, Ravenswood, was arraigned on the charges of driving while suspended or revoked and driving while suspended or revoked for DUI. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Joseph Burdette, 41, 76 Bernhardt Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were heard in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 15:

* Michael Sampe, 35, 1208 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned by Magistrate Brenda K. Marshall on a charge of sexual abuse in the first degree after allegedly touching the 5-year-old victim’s genitalia. He is being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $75,000 surety bond.

* Jarrod Eugene Kunze, 38, 2709 Norwood Ave., Parkersburg, was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bond on a citation for driving on suspension.

* Gary Paul Barker, 30, 817 Lenore St., Parkersburg, was released on $500 personal recognizance bond on a citation for destruction of property.

* Jared Coones, 38, 2709 Norwood Ave., was arraigned on charges of driving while suspended or revoked for DUI, a second offense, and improper display of registration. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Teresa Hall, 28, 407 Neal St., was arraigned on three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, methamphetamine, alprazolam and clonazepam. She was also arraigned on a charge of driving while suspended and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Corrie Herman, 30, 201 Westwood Way, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of persons prohibited from possessing a firearm and was released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Michael Hamilton, 22, 1318 Dillaway St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of public intoxication; he was assessed $170.25 in court cost and fines.
