Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on July 3:

* Audrey Thompson, 23, 1030 George St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

* William Saylor, 39, 731 Glendale Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended or revoked and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of operating without certificate; he was assessed $420.25 in court costs and fines.

* Tyler Hart, 21, 58 Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful injury to or destruction of property; he was sentenced to six months of probation and assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jarrett Masters, 20, 701 Cherry Ave., Williamstown, pleaded no contest to a charge of speeding 74 mph in a 70 mph zone and was assessed $175.25 in court costs and fines.

* Joseph Hescht, 39, 648 Sherwood Forest Drive, Belleville, was arraigned on the charge of strangulation and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 cash bond.

* Ashley Dowler, 30, 817 Hughes St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charges of possession with intent to deliver, heroin, and unlawful possession of fentanyl. She was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $75,000 surety bond.

* Lindsay Dye, 32, 2105 Wolf Run Road, Rockport, was arraigned on the charges of possession with intent to deliver, heroin, and unlawful possession of fentanyl. She was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $75,000 surety bond.

* Lindsay Tibbs III, 32, 30 Berkshire Court, Washington, pleaded guilty to a charge of fleeing from an officer and was sentenced to time served and assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.
