Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases May 29 and 30:

* Nathan Hughes, 41, 1693 Rosemar Road, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Christopher Hutson, 25, 1409 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty on the charge of fleeing from a police officer and was assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Steven Dennis, 35, 1400 Grandview St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstruction and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of disorderly conduct; he was assessed $210.25 in court costs and fines. * Ryan Ewing, 29, 2028 17th St., Apartment 11, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstruction and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of trespassing. He was assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Taylor McDermitt, 23, 305 Anderson Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. McDermitt was sentenced to one year probation and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* David Kesterson, 36, 3091 Pond Creek Road, Ravenswood, was dismissed on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods.

* Corey Ash, 27, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Stephen Gray, 37, 1317 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Bobby Schrader, 39, 59 Wildwood Drive, Apartment 103, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Eric Seeman, 47, 340 Haymakes Ave., Warren, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of petit theft and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Zack Biles, 23, 1117 Patton St., Apartment A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child abuse resulting in serious injury and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 surety bond..

* Denver Hoover, 56, 1025 1/2 Lakeview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of counterfeiting and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Catherine Barnhart, 42, 710 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and worthless check and was released on a $5,250 surety bond.

* George Carpenter, 51, 3603 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, was dismissed on the charge of failure to register because the trooper failed to appear.

* Ivan Willis, 37, 1212 George St., Parkersburg, had his preliminary hearing waived on a charge of driving while revoked for DUI, a third offense, and his case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Jacob Minor, 59, 1811 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, had his preliminary hearing waived on the charge of driving while revoked for DUI, a third offense, and his case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Maggie Barnhart, 36, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of destruction of property and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on the charges of domestic battery and petit larceny. She was assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on May 31:

* Ricky Lockhart, 45, 22 Short St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge a prohibited person possessing a firearm and was released on a $25,000 surety bond.

* Charles Mackey, 37, Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charges of destruction of property and domestic battery. He was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Wesley Campbell, 30, 4013 Salinas Drive, Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of entering without breaking and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Corey Morrison, 22, 1000 Kemper St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin and methamphetamine. He was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $40,000 cash bond.

* Brittany Bell, 28, 1000 Kemper St., Apartment 11, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, heroin and methamphetamine. She was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $40,000 cash bond.

* Adam Smith, 25, 107 Diamond Drive, Davisville, pleaded guilty to a ticket of expired registration and was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Susan Hendricks, 46, 1112 27th St., Vienna, was arraigned on the charges of public intoxication, obstruction, disorderly conduct and failure to render information; she was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Keyshawn Gates, 18, 1233 Laffer Ave., Akron, was arraigned on the charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Fentanyl, and is being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.

* Haley Jett, 27, 171 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver, Fentanyl, and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.

* Stephanie Carpenter, 18, 1160 Farson St., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Dakota Heckard, 20, 1334 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, had his preliminary hearing waived on a charge of entry of a building other than dwelling and his case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Eric Bever, 31, 1091 Wilhelm Run Road, Pennsboro, had his preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary and his case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Sherri Garrison, 45, number two Newbury Road, Little Hocking, had her preliminary hearing waived on a charge of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. Her case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Brianna Odell, 23, 1091 Wilhelm Run Road, Pennsboro, had her preliminary hearing waived on a charge of principal and second-degree and accessory before and after the fact. Her case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.
