Wood County Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases on April 18 and 19.

In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:

* Charles Trippett, 56, 1166 Club Drive, Washington, pleaded guilty to the charges of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, counts one and two and an information charge of transferring stolen property. He will be sentenced on June 19 at 9:30 a.m.

* Dwayne Singer, 27, in custody, was found guilty of conspiring to commit fraudulent use of an access device and was sentenced to one to five years in the West Virginia Department of Corrections with 39 days credit.

In Judge J.D. Beane’s Court:

* Dean Horton, age unavailable, 1800 1/2 Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, was found guilty on a plea of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was sentenced to three years probation.

* Cody Edman, 24, 4901 Second Ave., Parkersburg, was found guilty of child neglect creating risk of injury and was sentenced to two years of probation.

* Michele Fleming, age unavailable, 5402 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance. She was sentenced to three years of probation, to be served after a previous sentencing in another case through circuit court.

* Joshua Taylor, 37, in custody, pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer with reckless disregard and was sentenced to one to five years in the West Virginia Department of Corrections with 255 days credit.

* Robert Saunders Jr., 27, 802 Quincy St., pleaded guilty to transporting a controlled substance into the state and will be sentenced July 1 at 9 a.m.

* Allen Leon Brown, 62, in custody, pleaded guilty to the charges of delivery of a controlled substance, counts one and two and will be sentenced July 1 at 9 a.m.

* Larry Pettus, 48, 162 Warren Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer with reckless indifference and will be sentenced July 1 at 9:30 a.m.
