PARKERSBURG – The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 8:
* Celeste Dawn Scott, 1801 McGraw Run Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to speeding (84 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $181.48.
* Duwane J. Harris, 2317 Lincoln Ave., Saint Albans, had probable cause found for a charge of an inmate being in possession of a weapon, drugs or dangerous materials. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jessica Kay Miller, 180 Ash Circle, Davisville, had a charge of having no proof of insurance dismissed.
* Chad Christopher True, 17 Ash Circle, Davisville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $176.48. He was ordered to pay a $267.34 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Samantha Mae Cobb, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $662.96 and sentenced to 45 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation. A charge of domestic battery was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Kristopher McKai Hogue, 2229 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on nine months of unsupervised probation.
* Louis Delford Haddad, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed.
* Bethany Ann Owens, 5 8th Ave. Lot 12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* William Mathew Taylor, 249 Skyles Road, Saint Marys. pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $236.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Jacob Sterling Ross, 803 Siwenn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $236.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on three months of unsupervised probation.
* Ryan Glenwood Amos, 41 Auburn Road, Pullman, pleaded guilty to five counts of shoplifting and fined $882.40. He was ordered to pay a $505.60 civil penalty to the Hobby Lobby store in Vienna.
* Misty Dawn Martin, 1460 McGill Road, Vincent, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. She also pleaded guilty to failure to use turn signal 100 feet before turning and fined $186.48. She also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance on an access site and fined $196.48. She had charges of having no insurance and failure to obey traffic laws dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Lorie Beth Swiger, 129 Star Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and second offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* Micheal Scott Welch II, 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance (meth), fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit on one day for time served. He had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Mark Richard Robinson, 4407 11th Ave., Parkersburg, had charges of embezzlement and petit larceny were dismissed without prejudice.
* Corey Martin Tisdell, 1009 Olive St., Parkersburg, had probable cause found on a charge of possession with intent to deliver/possess, manufacture fentanyl. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Brandis Lee Morehead, 20 Granda Drive, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of possession with intent to deliver/manufacture a controlled substance and manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to deliver Schedule IV controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Nathan Allen Foster, 44 Beaver Road, Minden, W.Va., had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Donald John Murphy, 29010 Houston Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Charges of having no insurance, obstruction with threats of harm and having defective equipment were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Riley Jade Conley, Davisville, had charges of domestic assault and domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not want to pursue.
* Brandon Scott Johnson, 1619 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $251.82 civil penalty to Walmart store in Vienna.
* Lindsey Nicole James, 151 Gregg Lane, Walker, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $125.04 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Jessica Hope Kelley, 1101 Quincy St., Parkersburg, had a charge of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance dismissed after obtaining an updated license, but no longer has a vehicle.
* Joshua Allen Napalo, 145 Metta Crest Circle, Waverly, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Zackary Shane Murphy, 286 Berkley Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating an unlicensed motorboat, operating a motorboat without an identification number and operating a boat without a boating certificate and fined $629.44. Charges of obstruction and operating a motorboat under the influence were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tina Louise McElfresh, 178 Bentley Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having a defective windshield was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Derek Burton Taylor, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of two days for time served.
* Betty Jean Swiger, 2112 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $226.48.
* William Arthur Baker III, 995 River Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $351.48 and sentenced to 11 hours in jail.
* Jason Lee Allman, 509 Ward Place, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement and fined $236.48. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $57.18 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Patricia Lynn Bohmke, 161 Hospitality Lane Room 115, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having no registration and fined $186.48. A charge of having no insurance dismissed after presenting proof to the prosecutor.
* Torrie Brielle Grose, 1934 1/2 Worthington St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $191.48. She was ordered to pay a $282.72 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Kayla Dawn Pifer, 70 Farrah Lane lot 120, Elkins, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Ryan Nickolas Cline, 630 Bird St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $5,000 bond.
* Christopher Chandler Bond, 1041 24th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no operators license and shoplifting and released on $600 bond.
* Chanda Rae Lott, 2092 S Pleasant Hill Road, Belleville, was arraigned on two counts of second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lakyn Mackenzie Ayers, 415 Henderson Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $500 bond.
* Jerry Lee Maston Jr., 20 Woodland Park Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction (two counts), second-offense shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance and violation of a protective order and held on $9,500 bond.
* Michael Duane Copen, 313 Franklin St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having defective equipment and an expired MVI and released on bond.
* Amber Marie Cooper, 458 Elk Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, second-offense driving on a suspended license, having expired registration, possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and held on $2,700 bond.

PARKERSBURG – The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 9:
* Sara K. Thomas, 186 Orchard Drive, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle without an adequate horn and fined $186.48. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed.
* Wesley L Anderson, 2521 29th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Teri Ann Shaw, 1313 Park Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Desirae Lynn Conkle, 3015 1/2 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to nine days in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Bryan Edward White, 1619 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay a $757.50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Jamaal Reginald Alvincent Stewart, 1215 1/2 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, had a charge of receiving/transferring stolen goods dismissed.
* James David Still, 2108 Maxwell Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail.
* Steven Tony Lask Jr., 3015 Halbrook Road, West Union, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed.
* David Willis Melott II, 637 Goose Ran Road, Pullman, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed.
* John Michael Brown Jr., 606 Bird St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 11 days for time served. A charge of third-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Bryson Alexander Queen, 712 Montgomery Hill Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to speeding (92 mph in a 65 mph zone) and fined $206.48. He also pleaded guilty to speeding (84 mph in a 65 mph zone) and fined $196.48.
* David Wayne Zitcovich, 822 Morgan Ave., Belpre, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart.
* Andrea L Gibbs, 235 Center St., Mason, was arraigned on eight counts of unauthorized use of an access device with intent to defraud and released on $25,000 bond.
* Francisco Salazar Ortiz, 2801 Emerson Ave. Apt. 3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident and released on $1,000 bond.
* Brandon Maxwell Tanzey, 85 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription on an access site and released on $500 bond.
* Daniel Wayne Cade, 3924 Wolfe Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and having an open container and released on $1,000 bond.
* Steele Morris Falcon, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violating a domestic violence protection order and held on $3,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG – The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 10:
* Timothy Aric Fulks, 3504 Hemlock Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, fined $664.44 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of having no insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Eric Christopher Taylor, 5917 5th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $481.48 and sentenced to two days at the Wood County Holding Center.
* John Edward Boston, PO Box 209, Mineral Wells, had charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed.
* Scott Robert Hickman, 15 Little Kanawha River Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Ryan Michael Ruth, 64 Waterloo Way, Winfield, W.Va., had a charge of improper use of a cellphone dismissed.
* Lloyd Earnest McClung, 2105 Private St., Parkersburg, had charges of battery and accidents involving damage to a vehicle dismissed.
* Ashley Nicole Forshey, 4317 Sayre Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI drugs, fined $361.48 and sentenced to 7 days in jail which was ruled as time served. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Grace Olivia McMannis, 819 Hill St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Vicki Sue Clark, 405 12th St., Apt. 405, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals and fined $476.48. She was ordered not to possess any animals for five years.
* Joseph A Lewis, 313 North 2nd St., Paden City, pleaded guilty to purposely trying to defeat a blood and alcohol test and fined $376.48.
* Adam Lee Sams, 1118 Avery St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of breaking and entering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Brandy Nicole Wright, 1202 Hocking Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 24 hour for time served after not completing a LEAD program agreement. She had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement. She also pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 24 days for time served. She was ordered to pay a $238.56 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Derek Robert Chrisman, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense violation of a protective order, fined $676.48 and sentenced to six months in jail. He had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense domestic assault/battery. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Paul James Gordon Jr., 100 Raspberry Dr., Walker, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and improper registration and released on $1,000 bond.
* Corey Edward Tanner, 35 Parkville Drive Apt. 52, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Morgan Marie Francis, 819 Hill St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting, less than $500, and fleeing from an officer and released on $1,000 bond.
* Bobby Lee Tincher, Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $1,000 bond.
* Paula Lynne Hadley, 5432 School House Road, Belpre, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.
* James Rusty Wallace, 921 Big Run Road, Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and fleeing and released on $1,000 bond.
* Christopher Eugene Malone, 1050 Welch Road, Cutter, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and having expired registration and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lisa Marie Duley, 524 Reed St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on $2,500 bond.
* Kyle B. Dial, 5892 Walker Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and failure to restrain a child while a vehicle was in motion and fined $211.48.
* Luchanna Eileen Shields, 2414 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, second-offense DUI, fined $627.96 and placed on three months of home confinement. A charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Taryn Lynn Luckey, 209 38th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding (84 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $191.48.
* Lisa Marie Duley, 524 Reed St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $354.60 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
