Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Dec. 23:

* Eric Shane Vest, 41, c/o 1003 13th Ave., Vienna pleaded guilty to assault on a government employee and/or medical personnel and obstructing an officer and was sentenced to jail for 30 days. He was credited for 10 days served and assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed.

* Everett Winfoeld Blair II, 59, 600 31st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for one year of probation. A charge of possession of methamphetamines was dismissed and he was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Erica Gayle Bettinger, 26, 1341 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart. She was assessed $205.25 in court costs and fines.

* Kevin Glen Anderson, 59, 8924 Southern Highway, Rockport, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to jail for 30 days, suspended for one year of probation. He was credited for one day served and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Casey George Reed, 24, 1413 39th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving without a license, left lane usage and charges of driving without proper safety equipment and improper registration were dismissed. He was assessed $360.50 in court costs and fines.

* Jacob Matthew Gibson, 24, 14 Hemlock St., Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and petit larceny and was sentenced to jail for 60 days. He was assessed $320.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jason James Littleton, 41, 602 13th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance and improper registration. One count of no proof of insurance was dropped and he was assessed $370.25 in court costs and fines.

* Stefin Richard Pappas, 48, 1216 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot and disorderly conduct and was released on a $3,100 cash bond.

* Chrystal Nadine Glessner, 34, 489 Ohio River Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a truancy charge and was released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Scot Dewayne Bush, 41, 47 Elm St., Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of open burn/refuse and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Amber Nicole Mundy, 25, Beach Island, S.C., was arraigned on charges of domestic battery, assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Tiffany Lynn Welch, 34, 598 Big Run Road, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and violation of a protective order. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed and she was sentenced to jail or home confinement for 90 days. She was assessed $420.25 in court costs and fines.

* Lawrence Bryar Bruke, 1346 Lee Creek Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was sentenced to jail for 90 days and a charge of fleeing from an officer was dismissed. He was assessed $220.25 in court costs and fines.

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Dec. 28:

* Nicholas Paul Davis, 49, 157 Dickens Drive Ste. 8, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and an unsigned registration card and was sentenced to six months of probation. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Michael Anthony Vanlue, 37, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of domestic battery, disorderly conduct and falsely reporting an accident and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Alan Keith Philpott, 29, homeless, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Chelsea M. Davis, 30, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a domestic assault charge and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Jacob Tyler McClead, 23, 40 Cunningham Lane, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and violation of a domestic violence protective order and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Dakota Joseph Prive, 22, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and was released on a $5,00 bond.

* Joseph Lee Waggoner, 33, 344 Berkley Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, no insurance and duty upon striking a fixture and was released on a $3,000 cash bond.

* Charles Raymond Cody Miller, 24, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault and bond was set at $1,500 surety.

* Sean Michael Adkins, 32, 413 8th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Lacole Deann Dalrymple, 34, 1220 Williamstown Ave., New Matamoras, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

* Ashley Lynn Ohse, 38, 413 East Eighth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was sentenced to jail for two days and was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* George Lee Carpenter Jr., 41, 31 Lantana Lane, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and was bound over to Circuit Court.

* A domestic battery charge was dismissed for Andy M. Hewett, 53, Parkersburg.

* Jeremiah Indiana Jones, 33, 56 Raymond Ave., Pennsboro, pleaded guilty to duty upon striking an unattended vehicle and no insurance. He was sentenced to probation for one year, suspended for 30 days of probation and was assessed $2,045.50 in court costs and fines.

* Casey George Reed, 24, 1413 39th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving without a license and left lane usage. Charges of driving without required security and improper evidence of registration were dismissed and was assessed $360.50 in court costs and fines.

* A sentence was deferred for Jason Robert Rutherford, 43, 501 32nd St. Lot 4, Parkersburg, for a charge of possession of a controlled substance. His sentence of six months of probation was deferred and he was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Gonnady Pritsker, 44, 8 Finch Road, North Salem, N.Y., pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports on Dec. 29:

* Alan Philpott, 29, of Parkersburg was arrested on Dec. 24 for domestic battery.

* Dakota Prive, 22, of Parkersburg was arrested on Dec. 25 for domestic battery.

* Donald Williams, 41 of Parkersburg was arrested on Dec. 27 for disorderly conduct, obstructing and possession of a controlled substance.

* On Dec. 24, officers responded to Pike Street for a petit larceny.

* On Dec. 26, officers responded Ollies in Gihon Village and cited Alan Deem for shoplifting.

* On Dec. 26, officers responded to Wal-Mart and cited Joshua Allan and Nakitann Dunn for shoplifting.

* On Dec. 27, officers responded to Elder Street for a destruction of property.

* On Dec. 27, officers responded to Garfield Avenue for a petit larceny.

* Between Dec. 24 and Dec. 27, officers responded to seven motor vehicle accidents.
