PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Sept. 15:

* Kenneth Allen Bay, 32, 45 Ruby Rd., Davisville, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was assessed $220.25 in court fines.

* Shane Kelley Stanley, 48, 710 Columbia Ave. Apt. A, Williamstown, was dismissed on a retaliation for attendance charge and was indicted through Wood County Circuit Court.

* Dustin Dwayne Metz, 37, 2514 10th Ave., Parkersburg, was dismissed on a strangulation charge, the alleged victim did not appear.

* Drew Anthony Weaver, 22, c/o 1000 Market St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit petit larceny and was sentenced to six months of jail, suspended for two years of probation and will receive mental health services through Westbrook. He was credited with 12 days served and was dismissed on charges of breaking and entering and entry of a building other than a dwelling and was assessed $170.25 in court fines.

* Joseph Allen Sunderman, 41, 808 Dewey Ave., St. Marys, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $280.25 in court fines.

* Chad Everett Burk, 42, 4001 12th Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of possession with intent to deliver and was bound over to circuit court.

* Robert Van Campbell, 23, 8115 W. Mollohan Rd., Marietta, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of attempting or taking property, money or valuable of another by force or violence and was bound over to circuit court.

* Austin James Parker, 21, 600 Sycamore Run, Mineral Wells, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of aiding or abetting in commission of a Section 14 offense and was bound over to circuit court.

* Brian Denver Hess, 44, 303 38th St., Vienna, was arraigned on an indecent exposure charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kenneth Lawrence Kerns, 74, Apt. 305 Unity Plaza, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of no seatbelt, no insurance, driving on a suspended license and improper registration and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Candice N. Donley, 44, 344 Dulin Dr. #23, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of no operators, expired registration, no inspection and no proof of insurance and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Abby Gayle Little, 30, 1903 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of harboring a fugitive and bond was set at $5,000 surety.

* James D. Key, 43, 1415 Covert St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and improper registration and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Brian Edward Turner, 36, 5900 Bridge Rd. Apt. 210, Ypsilanti, Mich., was arraigned on an aggravated DUI charge and was released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Craig Allen Hardy, 33, 2502 Oak St. Apt. 4, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a destruction of property charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Brandon Douglas Thornhill, 40, 6404 MacCorkle Ave, St. Albans, was arraigned on charges of driving on a revoked license and possession of a controlled substance and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Nicholas Alexander Rymer, 45, 129 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to a speeding charge and was assessed $180.25 in court fines.

* Earl L. Robertson Jr., 46, 3680 Davis Rd., Hurt, Va., pleaded no contest to failure to display 2020 international fuel tax agreement decal and was assessed $220.25 in court fines.

* Viloa D. Spaur, 30, 808 Quincy St. Apt. 3, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was assessed $270.25 in court fines.

* Jean Michael Renee MaCloy, 19, 45 Devonshire Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to passing in no passing zone.

* Dustin E. Wright, 44, 94 Lois Lane, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to failure to maintain control.

* Steven Mark Boise II, 35, 2552 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license and no seatbelt and was assessed $295.25 in court fines.

* Mark O. Strickland, 46, 105 Westwood Dr., Ripley, pleaded guilty to no international fuel tax agreement decals.

* Hunter N. Melott, 24, 207 1/2 Lemont Court, Fairmont, pleaded no contest to speeding.

Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled recently in Wood County Circuit Court:

* Michael Drake Dotson, 32, 8405 B. Little Kanawha Parkway, Creston, had a petition filed to revoke his probation. Dotson had previously plead guilty to child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury and was placed on five years of probation. Since December 2019 he has regularly consumed heroin and marijuana, has not participated in required AA/NA meetings and has not been truthful with his probation officer. Sentencing is set before Judge J.D. Beane on Oct. 8 at 10:30 a.m.

* Sherri Lea Garrison, 46, 1611 Lincoln Ave. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered. Sentencing is set before Judge J.D. Beane on Nov. 5 at 9:45 a.m.

* Timothy E. Burch, 38, 659 13th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was ordered to seek treatment at Westbrook and report to the probation office. Sentencing is set before Judge J.D. Beane for Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.

* Tajuan L. Stanley, 22, Timber Trail Dr. N., Columbus, Ohio, had bond reduced from $200,000 to $150,000. He was charged with possession with intent to deliver, Fentanyl, and possession with intent to deliver, methamphetamine. Trial is set before Judge J.D. Beane for Nov. 18 at 9 a.m.

* Dillion M. Campbell, 22, 2306 16th Ave., Vienna, had previously pleaded guilty to attempted unlawful assault and placed in the Anthony Center for treatment. Court records said he did not want to seek treatment and has been ordered to complete his sentence with a credit of 432 days. The penalty carries a sentence of one to three years.
