Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases from March 7, 8 and 9.

* Thomas McGarry, 38, of Parkersburg was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $500 surety bond.

* Jared Schmidt, 36, 1636 New England Ridge Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver, heroin and or fentanyl, and he was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 surety bond.

* Travis Hapney, 38, 2012 35th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charge of second-offense DUI and was released on a $500 surety bond.

* Jeffrey Snider, 36, 44 Snider Hill Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Joseph Cain, 33, 1002 23rd St. Apartment 6, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was released on a $500 surety bond.

* Ryan Merluzzi, 25, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 surety bond.

* Phillip Wilson, 33, 1902 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a vehicle without inspection and no proof of insurance; he was assessed $554.50 in court costs and fines.

* Marlee Roberts, 41, 211 Central City Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while suspended or revoked; as part of a plea agreement she was dismissed on a charge of vehicles must stop at through highways; she was fined $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* David Miller, 26, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on March 10.

* Jessica Fritz, 29, 1202 16th St., Parkersburg, waived her preliminary hearing on a charge of manufacturing, delivering or possession with the intent to manufacture and deliver a controlled substance, methamphetamine; her case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Jennifer Blacksher, 44, 1015 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI, a third offense, and was released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Jacqueline White, 31, 2 Worthington Lane apartment number 4, Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charge of shoplifting and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kyle Harold, 32, 17 Bungalow Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of trespassing; he was assessed $205.25 in court costs and fines and was ordered to pay a $145.92 civil penalty to the victim.
