* Christopher R. Knowlton, 27, of Williamstown was cited for expired registration.

* Curtis C. Bolton, 47, of Mineral Wells was cited for no operator license.

* Billy J. Day, 30, of Elizabeth was cited for speed 40 mph in a 25 mph zone.

* Shirley L. Braddy, 57, of Parkersburg was cited for expired registration.

* Lori B. Betts, 59, of Parkersburg was cited for no operator license.

Jan. 15

* Jocelyn L. Whealdon, 30, of Belpre was cited for driving under suspension.

* Vanessa K. Baker, 47, of Parkersburg was cited for expired registration.

* Jason H. Stengel, 41, of Marietta was cited for speed 67mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Rebecca C. McCartney, 21, of Washington was cited for speed 64 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* John P. Bratke, 29, of Belpre was cited for expired registration.

Jan. 16

* Eric L. Hapney, 28, of Belpre was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments.

* Floraressa A. Rouse, 55, of Charlotte, N.C., was cited for speed 57 mph in a 35 mph zone.

* Terry J. Russell, 39, of Marietta was cited for speed 82 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Yuanhe Xiao, 37, of Vienna was cited for speed 67 mph in a 50 mph zone.

Jan. 17

* Dawn M. Wilson, 52, of Coolville was arrested on charges of providing false information to officers, driving under OVI suspension, speed 67mph in a 50 mph zone, possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Nyle D. Sams, 21, of Mineral Wells was cited for speed 54 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Jan. 18

* Roxanne L. Jarrell, 40, of Parkersburg was cited for expired registration.

* Jeffrey N. McKinley, 48, of Belpre was cited for no operator license.

Jan. 19

* Giovanna A. Fish, 29, of Parkersburg was cited for no operator license.

* Brendan A. Seeburger, 21, of Vienna was cited for speed 67 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Holly A. Haines, 28, of Beverly was cited for fail to obey traffic control device.

* Timothy L. Craft, 37, of Little Hocking was cited for expired registration.

* Michael A. Multari Jr., 22, of Parkersburg was cited for expired registration and fictitious registration.

Athens Sheriff

ATHENS, Ohio — The Athens County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Jan. 17:

Jan. 16

* Kenny Barnhart, 63, was arrested on a charge of being drunk and disorderly in The Plains. Barnhart was transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail for his own safety since he was unable to care for himself.

* Deputies responded to North Plains Road in The Plains for a report of a theft. This case remains under investigation.

* Deputies responded to Alexander High School for a report of a male who was asked by school officials to leave a game. Deputies served the male with a trespass complaint, and he was advised not to return to the property.

* Deputies responded to May Avenue in Chauncey for a report of trespassing. The complainant stated that someone entered her home while she was not there but did not take anything. She wished to have a report on file.

* Deputies responded to Grand Street in Hockingport for a well-being check. Deputies spoke with the person, who stated everything was fine.

* Deputies responded to 64 Palmer St. in Jacksonville in reference to trespassers at a condemned residence. Upon arrival, the door was found open but no one was inside.

* Deputies spoke with a female who advised of a suspicious male on her property during the morning time hours. The complainant was advised to call the office if the male returned.
