Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Dec. 2:

* James Franklin Will III, 38, 107 Pickering St., Lot #1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on a $15,000 surety bond.

* Megan Lynn George, 28, c/o 1314 Spring St., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Brandon Robert Harvey, 33, 6326 Lee Creek Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Shawn Russell Martin, 47, 317 Roe Way, Cosby, Tennessee, was arraigned on charges of first-offense driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance and released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Austin L. Lamb, 22, 628 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery of a health care worker and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Patrick Anders Cheek, 33, c/o 1726 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* James Daniel Canty, 59, 926 E. 12th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; felon in possession of a firearm; and fleeing with reckless disregard and bond was set at $75,000 surety. Canty allegedly started his vehicle and put it into drive during a traffic stop Nov. 30 by Parkersburg Police on Plum Street. An officer pulled Canty from the vehicle and a Taser was used to get Canty to comply.

* Daniel Lee Frame, 37, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Ernest Wade Boley, 41, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Jacob A. Sherrill, 26, 517 Market St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and failure to render information and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Eric Shane Vest, 39, 1109 31st St., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and bond was set at $50,000 surety. On Nov. 29, Vest allegedly broke down the door of a home in the 600 block of Marrtown Road and threatened a resident with a mattock.

* Tricia Lynn White, 44, 3902 Second Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Adam Joseph Trus, 42, 615 Sherwood Forest Drive, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended/revoked license, improper registration and no insurance and released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Austin Shane Twilley, 20, Harrisville, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Anthony Marcus Opitz, 32, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Jacob Matthew Gibson, 23, 14 Hemlock St., Elizabeth, was arraigned on five counts of driving on a suspended license, one count of second-offense driving on a suspended license, two counts of third-offense driving on a suspended license, four counts of improper registration, two counts of left of center and one count each of no insurance, defective equipment and no seatbelt. He was released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Joey Allen Barnett, 37, 523 W. Main St., Apt. 4, Spencer, waived preliminary hearings on charges of uttering, failure to appear, conspiracy and fraudulent use of an access device. The cases were bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Brandon William James Irons, 24, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and obstructing and released on a $4,000 surety bond.

* William Arthur Roush, 25, 3368 Progress Ridge Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and bond was set at $50,000 surety. He allegedly stole a car from the Vienna Walmart parking lot on Dec. 1.

* Dustin Michael Halko, 37, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense domestic battery and bond was set at $25,000 surety.

* Clyde Michael Willis Jr., 46, 94 Lou Willis Drive, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and bond was set at $50,000 surety.

* Lindsey Ray Quick, 30, 5324 Sandhill Road, Coolville, was arraigned on charges of burglary, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid, expired driver’s license, failure to maintain control, no proof of insurance and improper registration and bond was set at $75,000 surety.

* Austin T. Harris, 23, 705 Virgil St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* William Rex Kinney, 60, 4424 16th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts each of indecent exposure and reckless driving and one count of disorderly conduct and released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Everett Winfield Blair II, 58, 600 31st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of selling alcohol to a person under 21 and was assessed $195.25 in fines and court costs.

* Joey Eaton Goodrich, 47, 19161 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and was sentenced to 12 months home confinement, to run consecutive to a sentence in a Ritchie County case. He was also assessed $1,170.25 in fines and court costs.

* Phillip Edward Butler, 36, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $195.25 in fines and court costs. He was also ordered to pay a civil penalty of $558.88 to Walmart.

* Jordan Stephan Miller, 25, 1513 21st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to first-offense DUI, was sentenced to 90 days home confinement with credit for one day served and was assessed $345.25 in fines and court costs.

* William Joseph Bills, 41, 1130 Hebron Road, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to obstructing and was assessed $220.25 in fines and court costs. A charge of shoplifting was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* Floyd Jeffrey Villers, 52, 634 Lincolnshire Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to obstructing and falsely reporting an emergency. He was sentenced to one day in jail, already served, and assessed $415.50 in fines and court costs.

* Kerry Darious Riffle, 33, 4181 Rocky Fork Road, Orlando, W.Va., pleaded guilty to prohibited person in possession of a firearm and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation, with credit for four days served, and assessed $180.25 in court costs.

* Robert Kenneth Cutright, 56, 3011 Bull Run Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to DUI, from an original charge of aggravated DUI. He was sentenced to two days in jail, already served, and assessed $345.25 in fines and court costs.

* Christina Lynn Odell, 25, 4410 Jefferson St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of obtaining a drug by a means other than a physician and one count of driving on a suspended license. She was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 90 days in jail, with credit for nine days served, which were suspended for six months probation, and assessed $881 in fines and court costs.

* Ryan Ashley Williams, 34, 2401 26th Place, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for 29 days served, to be served concurrent with another case from Circuit Court. He was also assessed $170.25 in court costs.

* Velina D. Miller, 40, P.O. Box 74, Vincent, pleaded guilty to no insurance and was assessed $370.25 in fines and court costs.

* Joshua Aaron Durback, 42, 18107 Ripley Road, Leon, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license, general, and was assessed $270.25 in fines and court costs.

* Christine Louise Wilkening, 20, 371 Blenn Lake Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and fleeing from an officer, was sentenced to eight hours in jail, already served, and was assessed $390.50 in fines and court costs.

* Emily Shae Casto, 21, 3304 First Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to battery and was assessed $215.25 in fines and court costs.

* Wesley James Radabaugh, 28, 1451 Hill St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for 20 days served. He was also assessed $205.25 in fines and court costs.
