Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Nov. 18:

• Melvin G. Jessop, 55, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and violation of a domestic violence protective order and bond was set at $26,000 surety.

• Matthew Ryan Hunt, 32, 365 Sharon St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence and bond was set at $5,000 surety.

• Jason Matthew Toncray, 34, 4779 Federal Road, Coolville, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing in a vehicle while DUI and released on a $15,000 bond.

• Timber Marie Sams, 26, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

• Douglas Booth, 55, 503 Hugh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and bond was set at $5,000 surety.

• Teresa Irene Hall, 28, 407 Neal St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, clonazepam and alprazolam) and one count of first-offense driving on a suspended license and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

• Edie J. Best, 39, 280 Greene St., Newport, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

• Charles K. Miller, 32, 35 Parkville Drive, Apt. 50, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of throwing lighted material on a highway and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

• Joshua Amos Gibson, 36, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of child neglect and domestic battery and bond was set at $35,000.

• Christopher Edward Lynn Byrd, 31, 1103 30th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and bond was set at $100,000.

• Eddie Ladell Cunningham, 34, 1234 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to register a dog and was assessed $195.25 in fines and court costs.

• Timothy A. Fouty, 52, 737 Glendale Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to beer sale under 21 and was assessed $220.25 in fines and court costs.

• Chance Kaije Paul McCartney, 22, 1113-A Highland Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, was sentenced to six months jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $2,208.95 in court costs and restitution.

• Melissa Pamela Evans, 49, 201 Doodle Lane, Palestine, waived a preliminary hearing on an embezzlement charge and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.
