Williamstown Police

The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports on Nov. 18:

Nov. 12:

Joseph Green, 19, Clarksville, Pa., was cited for speed 49/35 on West Third Street.

A 16-year-old Marietta female was cited for a red light violation at West Third Street/Highland Avenue.

Nov. 14:

Andrew Buckley of Williamstown reported the theft of two concrete lions from a residence on East Fourth Street. The items stolen were valued at $200.

Nov. 15:

Anna Walters, 32, Parkersburg was cited for expired MVI and speed 39/25 on Highland Avenue.

Dale Ackerman, 65, Parkersburg was cited for expired registration and littering on W.Va. 14.

Rebecca Marsh, 41, Lucasville, Ohio, was cited for littering W.Va. 14.

Nov. 16:

Kody Newbanks, 34, Belpre, was cited for speed 66/45 on West Third Street.

Nov. 17:

Joseph Godfrey, 42, Vienna, was cited for speed 61/45 on West Third Street.

Matthew Hall, 29, Mineral Wells, was cited for impeding traffic and failure to maintain control on Highland Avenue.

Travis Kyle McCulty, 26, Mineral Wells, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue in which McCulty was a passenger. McCulty reportedly was cautioned several times about being disorderly and exiting vehicle during the traffic stop but failed to comply with officers. McCulty was taken into custody and placed in the Department of Corrections. McCulty was arraigned at Wood County Magistrate Court and confined in lieu of $1.500 bail.
