Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases Nov. 12:

* Lisa Yvette Taylor, 33, 1308 Myrtle, St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on an obstruction charge and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Eric Patrick Townsend, 39, 312 Red Hill Road, Parkesrburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to appear and was released on a $100 cash bond.

* Albert Allen Richards, 59, 201 Buffalo Ave., Fairmont, was arraigned on an intimidation of a witness charge and was released on a $4,000 surety bond.

* Holli Renae Parsons, 35, 20 Pioneer Circle #106, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Brandon Paul Haynes, 29, 280 Dempsey Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, marijuana, and was released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* John Scott Sprouse, 44, 405 Washington Blvd., Belpre, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, meth and heroin, and was held on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Angela Christine Wallace, 52, 4247 Williamstown Pike, Apt. 205, Williamstown, was arraigned on a trespassing charge and was released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Kevin Thomas Rippeto, 61, 45 Opal Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of no proof of insurance and an expired motor vehicle inspection and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Dannie Franklin Snyder Jr., 50, 329 Lock Fire Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, disorderly conduct and public intoxication and was released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Anthony Byran Martin, 33, 302 Parson St., Belpre, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving, driving under a suspended license and without insurance and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Sean Michael Haverty, 28, 147 East Lubeck Hills Drive, Washington, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Denzil Wayne Dowler, 35, 4415 14th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a battery charge and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jasmine Sue Rollyson, 20, 2412 Covert St. #17, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a truancy charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Rachelle R. Jackson, 47, 713 30th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* David Wayne White, 64, 3 Worthington Lane, Apt.7, was arraigned on a second public intoxication charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Clyde Michael Willis III, 762 Forest Way, Waverly, was arraigned on a destruction of property charge and was released on a $1,000 surety bond

* Brandon Lott, 34, 2201 Meadowview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Kevin Matthew Lohoefener, 34, 740 Frontage Road, Apt. 1, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and disorderly conduct and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* A seventeen-year-old male from Parkersburg was arraigned on a charge of underage possession of a tobacco product and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Emily Proscia, 22, 1508 Crescent St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Morgan Stuart, 26, 430 Henderson Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of driving while revoked for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and fleeing; she was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $1,500 surety bond.

* David McCoy, 28, 1008 31st St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of public intoxication and was released on a $100 personal recognizance bond.

* Michael Burrell, 48, 5565 Old St Marys Pike, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, methamphetamine, and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Clinton Owens, 56, 5 Eighth Ave., Lot 12, Parkersburg, was dismissed on charges of improper registration and no insurance because the state does not wish to prosecute.

* Ronald Bush Jr., 41, 47 Elm St., Davisville, was dismissed on a charge of violation of bond and two charges of violation of a protective order pursuant to a plea in a Wood County Circuit Court case.

* Joshua Crane, 33, 420 West Main St., Harrisville, was arraigned on charges of fleeing and DUI and was released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG –The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Nov. 12:

Nov. 9

* A deputy responded to Hill Street in reference to a hit and run. The complainant reported that his vehicle had been hit and that a neighbor is the one that had hit his vehicle; contact was made with the neighbor who advised she had hit the vehicle and was going to take care of the crash later on. A citation was issued to Martha Cecile Peters, 69, of Hill Street, for leaving the scene.

* Deputies responded to Walnut Grove in reference to attempt a warrant service. Michael Wayne Lynch, 30, of Walnut Grove, was placed under arrest on a Family Court capias for failing to appear for court issued through the Kanawha County Family Court.

* Deputies responded to Pike Street near Pettyville Road in reference to a vehicle accident. A citation was issued to Ashley L. Yoho, 30, of Anderson Lane, Waterford, Ohio, for driving with no insurance.

Nov. 10

* A deputy responded to Robert Byrd Highway near the Marrtown Road entrance ramp to U.S. 50 in reference to a vehicle crash involving a deer. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed. No injuries were reported.

* Kevin Matthew Lohoefener, 34, of Frontage Road, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

Nov. 11

* Francis Loraine Dorsey, 50, of Elizabeth, was arrested on a capias for charges of shoplifting. She was processed and placed in the holding center pending her arraignment.

* A deputy responded to U.S. 50 East in reference to a vehicle crash. The driver stated that he had struck a deer. The vehicle sustained heavy damage to the front passenger area but was able to be driven from the scene.

* David Wayne White, 64, of Worthington Lane, was taken into custody on the warrant for public intoxication. He was processed and placed pending his arraignment.

* A deputy spoke with a complainant in reference to damage to a vehicle and the license plate being stolen. The complainant reported that his vehicle broke down and he parked it in the parking lot of Aldi’s on Bosley Parkway; upon returning to get the vehicle he observed the passenger side door had been tampered with and the license plate had been taken. The investigation is ongoing.

Athens Sheriff

ATHENS — Athens County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports on Nov. 12:

Nov. 11

* The Criminal Interdiction Unit received information on the whereabouts of Lloyd Hudnall, 37, of New Marshfield, who has active warrants for his arrest. Deputies went to a State Route 56 address, where deputies located Hudnall hiding under a bed. Hudnall was placed under arrest and transported to SEORJ without further incident.

* Deputies responded to a report of active trespassing at an Angel Ridge Road residence. Deputies met with the complainants and were shown the area the suspect was believed to have been. No persons were located at that time. This matter is under investigation.

* Deputies responded to High Street in Glouster in reference to a live stream incident on Instagram. A report was taken on the incident and is being investigated.

* A Terrell Road resident came to the sheriff’s office to report that while he was away from home for a couple of weeks, his chainsaw had been stolen. The complainant advised his garage was locked but did not see any evidence of forced entry. He was reportedly going to local pawn shops to see if he may locate the chainsaw.

* Units responded to State Route 356 in New Marshfield for a report of a property owner who caught a male stealing items from his yard. Once on scene, Gene Perry Jr., 60, of New Marshfield, was questioned by deputies and admitted he had taken a bundle of blue rope and an air compressor from the property. The deputy placed Perry in his cruiser and took him to his residence where the stolen property was located and retrieved it. The property was returned to the property owner, who did not wish to file charges but wanted Perry trespassed from the property. A no trespass complaint form was completed, and Perry was released.

* Deputies were dispatched to Webb Avenue in Nelsonville in reference to a trespass complaint. The complainant advised that her mother had been coming over and harassing her. The daughter requested a trespass form to be filed against her mother, as she has been warned several times to cease contact. A no trespass complaint form was completed and served upon the mother.

* Deputies took a report of a residential breaking and entering on Connett Road in The Plains. The complainant did not want to file charges, however, requested that the suspects be located and advised to not return.

* While on patrol in The Plains, a Floyd Drive resident reported a gate was ajar to a backyard and storage shed door was open. They found this suspicious since the residence is for sale. The perimeter was checked, and the building and gate were secured.

* Deputies responded to a deer/vehicle crash on State Route 685 near Greens Run in Glouster.

* Deputies responded to Euclid Avenue in Buchtel in reference to a harassment complaint. Upon contacting the complainant, he advised that his ex-wife was calling and texting him repeatedly, and he wanted her to stop. He also requested information on obtaining a protection order. Contact was made with the ex-wife who was advised to stop calling and texting the complainant or she could possibly be criminally charged. The female advised that she understood. The caller was also provided information on obtaining a protection order.

* Deputies met Ohio State Highway Patrol at the Meigs County line to take custody of Ronnie Petrey, 34, of Athens. Petrey was taken into custody for active warrants for his arrest and transported to SEORJ without incident.

* Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on U.S. 50 near Albany. The driver was traveling west toward Albany from Athens when they struck a deer in the highway. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

* Deputies received a report of a propane tank theft from a May Avenue residence in Chauncey. The tank was 20 pounds in size and used in a grill. The tank was last used/seen in October.

* Deputies responded to The Plains McDonald’s for a report of a cell phone stolen. The information on the phone was taken. The case is under further investigation.

* Deputies received a report of a suspicious male walking in The Plains. Deputies located the male and identified Skyler Reardon, 25, and confirmed active warrants for his arrest. Reardon was taken into custody and transported to SEORJ without further incident.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports on Nov. 12:

* On Nov. 11, the Police Department responded to 96 calls for service.

* Joshua Crane of Harrisville was arrested on Nov. 11 for fleeing while DUI.

* Denzil Dowler of Parkersburg was arrested on Nov. 11 for battery.

* Gina Hand of Parkersburg was arrested on Nov. 11 for disorderly conduct.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to headquarters to speak with a complainant about a larceny.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to 19th Street about a stolen weed cutter.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to Fourth Avenue about a stolen bicycle.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to Moe’s Mini Storage on Garfield Avenue about a breaking and entering.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to Market Street about a stolen moped.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to Camden Avenue about a breaking and entering.

* On Nov. 11, officers responded to three motor vehicle accidents.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports Nov. 12:

Nov. 4

* Tuesdy Berry, 44, Charleston, was cited for speeding, 46 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* Gabriel Blueter, 20, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was cited for speeding, 46 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

Nov. 5

* Melissa Lake, 52, Harrisville, was cited for passing in a no passing zone on Henderson Avenue.

Nov. 6

* Bryan E. Estep, 39, Gallipolis, was arrested at the Sunshine Lodge on federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Estep was transported for medical clearance at Camden Clark Medical Center and then confined to the West Virginia Department of Corrections. The U.S. Marshals Service picked up Estep the following day and placed him in federal custody.

Nov. 7

* Brandon Paul Hayes, 28, Parkersburg, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver marijuana following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue. Approximately 59 grams of marijuana were recovered during the stop. A 4-year-old child who was in the vehicle at the time of stop was released to a family member. Hayes was arraigned at Wood County Magistrate Court and confined to the regional jail in lieu of bail

* Heidi Snyder, 25, Vienna, was cited for speeding, 40 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* Maria Lamb, 48, Venetia, Pa., was cited for speeding, 44 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

Nov. 8

* Steven M. Britton, 47, Davisville, was cited for possession of controlled substances and expired motor vehicle inspection on W.Va. 14.

* Anne Brown, 65, Williamstown, was cited for speeding, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, and failure to obtain West Virginia operator’s license on West Third Street.

* Kambrie Bosley, 23, Oakland, Md., was cited for speeding, 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* Deborah Mcfarlin, 61, Vienna, was cited for speeding, 52 mph in a 35 mph zone, and no operator’s on West Third Street.

Nov. 9

* Jessica Brantmeier, 23, Marietta, was cited for speeding, 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* Taylor Jones, 20, Caldwell, was cited for speeding, 41 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

Nov. 10

* Cassady Swearingen, 18, Vienna, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol at the Williamstown boat ramp.

* Garrett Bonnett, 20, Rockport, was cited for speeding, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, and open container of alcohol on West Third Street.

* Tia Shelton, 18, Gainesville, Ga., was cited for open container of alcohol and underage consumption of alcohol on West Third Street.

* Mark Ross, 18, Chicago, was cited for open container of alcohol and underage consumption of alcohol on West Third Street.
