Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases Aug. 20.

* Paul Bibbee II, 53, 1618 Beaver St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charges of obstruction, failure to render information and two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $6,500 surety bond.

* Carl Burner III, 38, 120 Pointe Drive Lot 8, Parkersburg, had probable cause found for threatening to commit a terrorist act after he allegedly called Wood County Circuit Court, saying, according to the criminal complaint, he was sick of games and was going to start taking people out. “I will take out anyone else who wants to lie,” Burner allegedly said. He allegedly threatened Wood County Circuit Court Judges J.D. Beane and Jason Wharton and Prosecutor Pat Lefebure.

* Heather Hollingsworth, 26, 1725 20th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of fleeing and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of obstruction. She was sentenced to 90 days of unsupervised probation and assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jeremiah Cross, 26, 815 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 surety bond.
