PARKERSBURG — Wood County Circuit Court arraigned the following people on May 24.

In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:

* Stephen Ryan Wood, 30, 1018-5 Cornwall St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on four counts of second offense charges of delivery of a controlled substance and one charge of possession of a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin on July 30.

* Jimmy-Jack Vandal, 31, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on charges of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference, fleeing from an officer on foot, obstruction and bringing stolen property into the state, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin on July 30.

* Amanda Gail Stutler, 37, 11906 State Route 204, Thornville, Ohio, who was indicted on charges of grand larceny and fraudulent schemes, failed to appear for her arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Joshua Glenn Stewart, 38, of 618 Reed St., Apt. 4, Parkersburg, who was indicted on charges of receiving stolen property and receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin on July 30.

* Myron Alton Pringle, 42, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on six counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count each of attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer, fleeing from an officer on foot and obstructing an officer, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin on Aug. 13.

* Thomas Michael Pauley, 29, of 1012 Cornwall St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on a charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 13.

* Philip Leland Mayle, 48, of Long Run Road, Pennsboro, who was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 9.

* Davon Jamir Linder, 19, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, keeping or maintaining a vehicle for the keeping of a controlled substance, fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference and fleeing from an officer on foot, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 30.

* Brooke Alexandria Kimble, 21, of 1024-2 Avery St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on one count of drug delivery resulting in death and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and her trial will begin Aug. 20.

* John Jay Haddox Jr., 30, of 703 29th St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on six counts each of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust. He is accused of inappropriately touching a family member under the age of 10 in July and August 2018, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 13.

* Christopher Lee Garner, 36, of 16 Brookview Drive, Belleville, W.Va., who was indicted on a charge of cruelty to animals, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 20.

* Timothy Nay Cochran, 51, of 2507 10th Ave., Parkersburg, who was indicted on charges of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and battery, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 20.

* Scotty J. Byers, 35, of 23 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of second-offense failure to register and one count of failure to appear, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 30.

* Brenda Lee Bailey, 47, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and her trial will begin Aug. 13.

In Judge Robert Waters’ Court:

* Dale Patrick Wright, 19, 2311 Covert St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one charge of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 14.

* Mark Aaron Ward, 44, 1131 1/2 Swann Street, Parkersburg, who was indicted on the charges of entering without breaking, fleeing from an officer on foot and obstruction, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Lindsey Sherman Tibbs III, 41, 30 Berkshire Court, Parkersburg, who was indicted on three counts of shoplifting, failed to appear for arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* John Charles Stout, 49, of 910 Core Road, Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 27.

* Russell Delbert Sams, 87, of 412 Alder Lane, Walker, who was indicted on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse, was found not competent to stand trial. A hearing was set for July 22 at 2:30 p.m. for factual findings.

* Alontez Jamall Perdue, 25, of 17661 Collinson Ave., East Pointe, Mich., who was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Caleb Daniel McClung, 35, of 4599 Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of fraudulent use of an access device, fraudulent possession of an access device and conspiracy to commit fraudulent possession of an access device, pleaded not guilty, and co-defendant Cindy Lynn Givens, 31, of 31 Apache Way, Elizabeth, who was indicted on charges of fraudulent possession of an access device and conspiracy to commit fraudulent possession of an access device, also pleaded not guilty, and their trial will begin July 16.

* Christopher Lee Lutz, 36, of 1106 24th St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Adam Leroy Knopp, 25, of 3604 Willard St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on charges of third-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and possession of a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 14.

* Charley Glen Hutson, 42, of Route 2, Box 264, Walker, who was indicted on two counts of entering without breaking and one count of petit larceny and failure to appear, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 30.

* Andreas Jaye Gordon, 20, of 67 E. IDO Ave., Akron, Ohio, who was indicted on charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, pleaded not guilty, and trial will begin Aug. 27.

* Seth Dalton Delancey, 22, of 49 Osborne St., Washington, W.Va., who was indicted on charges of malicious assault and battery, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 20.

* Logan Mark Coon, 23, of 1601 19th St., Parkersburg, and co-defendant Douglas Theodore Corbin, 22, of 1212 Lakeview Drive, Parkersburg, were indicted on charges of breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. They pleaded not guilty, and their trial will begin Aug. 14.

* William Travis Cain, 32, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 14.

* Thomas H. Bailey Jr., 54, of 1017 36th St., Vienna, who was indicted on charges of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference, obstructing an officer and assault of a law enforcement officer, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 14.

In Judge J.D. Beane’s Court:

* Myron Eugene Anderson, 37, of 147 Jordyn Lane, Mineral Wells, who was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 27.

* Elle Anne Buck, 32, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on one count of possessing a deadly weapon on the premises of an education facility, pleaded not guilty, and her trial will be scheduled at a later date.

A criminal complaint from Magistrate Court alleges that on Dec. 4, Buck pulled out a folding knife and opened it while speaking to the Emerson Elementary School principal inside the school, before dropping the knife and fleeing.

* Alexander Joseph Clark, 44, of 208 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, who was indicted on two counts of third-offense driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 23.

* Ryan Matthew Dailey, 36, of 1126 46th St., Apt. 5, Vienna, who was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of keeping or maintaining a vehicle for the keeping of a controlled substance, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Michael Dotson, 31, of 8405B Little Kanawha Parkway, Creston, W.Va., who was indicted on charges of child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury, child neglect creating the risk of serious bodily injury or death, driving while in an impaired state causing serious bodily injury and driving while in an impaired state causing bodily injury, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 27.

* Joshua Emery Greene, 34, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County, who was charged with one count of murder in the February death of Jason Tefft, 42, with whom he shared a residence at 809 Edgelawn St. in Parkersburg, pleaded not guilty and his trial is set to begin Sept. 4.

According to a criminal complaint, Greene was witnessed punching Tefft in the face on the porch of the residence. Early the following morning, Greene and another individual allegedly returned to the residence and Greene discovered Tefft had urinated on his bed. Greene allegedly struck Tefft in the face while he was sleeping then dragged him into the hallway and continued to hit and kick him, police said.

Tefft suffered a severe brain injury and died the following day. Since his arrest on Feb. 19, Greene has been held without bond.

* William E. Johnson, 54, in custody at Pickaway Correctional Institution in Orient, Ohio, was indicted on charges of bank robbery and use or presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The state motioned for a capias to be issued, and the court granted the motion.

Williamstown Police Chief Shawn Graham said Johnson was developed as a person of interest last year in the Oct. 31, 2017, robbery of the Williamstown Bank on Highland Avenue. A man in a Halloween mask entered the bank around 10:30 a.m., lifted his shirt to reveal what appeared to be a firearm and fled on foot.

* William Albert Liebau II, 37, of 1503 Covert St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on charges of burglary, attempted petit larceny and obstructing an officer, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 13.

* Michele Lee Mayhew, 36, of 1027 Lynn St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one count of possession of an unauthorized access device, failed to appear for her arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Herbert E. Myles, 29, of 3771 Ashton Road, Columbus, who was indicted on two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Eric Leon Parkins, 38, of 608 Pike St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, failure to appear , keeping or maintaining a vehicle for the keeping of a controlled substance, failed to appear for his arraignment.. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Jeremy Michael Phipps, 40, of 534 Fifth St., Parkersburg, who was indicted on charges of breaking and entering and destruction of property, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Thomas Charles Smith Jr., 58, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Smith, who was also indicted on a charge of keeping or maintaining a dwelling for keeping a controlled substance, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin July 23.

* Jasmire Jamal King, 32, address unknown, who was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, one count of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

* Christopher Allen Streight, 32, 221 South Sixth St., Marietta, who was indicted on the charges of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and failure to appear, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 27.

* Stephen Patrick Tyler, 36, in custody at the regional jail, who was indicted on a charge of soliciting to a minor via computer, pleaded not guilty, and his trial will begin Aug. 27

* Keenan Jamar Watson, 23, 640 Velmont Park, Dayton, who was indicted on a second offense charge of delivery of a controlled substance, failed to appear for his arraignment. A capias was issued and bond revoked.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases May 28.

In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:

* Michael Morris, age unavailable, in custody, was found guilty on a plea to wanton endangerment involving a firearm and was sentenced to three years of probation.

* William Butcher, 42, in custody, was found guilty on a plea to a charge of entering without breaking and was sentenced to one to 10 years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections with 106 days of credit.

* Matthew Bixman, 27, in custody, was found guilty to unlawful assault and was sentenced to the West Virginia Department of Corrections for one to five years with credit for 71 days.

* Amanda Wilson, 37, 6329 Pike St., Parkersburg, was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and sentenced to one to five years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections.

* Robert Eugene Flynn, 32, in custody, was found guilty on the charges of destruction of property and assault. For destruction of property he was sentenced to one year at the regional jail with credit for 112 days and for assault he was sentenced to six months at the regional jail with credit for 112 days. These sentencings are to run concurrently.

* James Davis, 24, in custody, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver and will be sentenced on July 8 at 9:30 a.m.

In Judge J.D. Beane’s Court:

* Donald Harding, 54, 911 Tygart St., Parkersburg, was found guilty of entering without breaking, count two, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, count eight. For count two, he was sentenced to one to 10 years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections and for count eight, he was sentenced to two years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections. These counts are to run concurrently.

* Antonio de Freitas, 22, in custody, was found guilty on a plea to breaking and entering and his sentence was delayed until after time at the Anthony Center.

* Shawn Jones, 41, in custody, on charges of child abuse resulting in serious injury, child abuse creating risk of serious injury and domestic battery made a motion for a bond reinstatement, which was granted by the court. Jones is being held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases May 28.

* Angela Johnson, 38, 908 Neal St., Apartment B, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while suspended or revoked, third offense, no insurance, improper registration and obstruction. She was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Jasmine Rollyson, 20, 710 Pine Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jimmy Wilson, 35, 1381 Jewell Hill Road, St. Marys, had his preliminary hearing waived on the charges of gross neglect of a child creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury and fleeing with reckless indifference. He was arrested after a high-speed chase involving the alleged running of red lights and stop signs with his daughter in the car.

* Dona Rood, 52, 169 Lucille Lane, Washington, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting, was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines and was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the victim.

* Chapman Rake, 30, 2417 Highland Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked for DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. As part of a plea agreement he was dismissed on the charge of using a mobile device while driving. He was sentenced to 60 days of home confinement and assessed $420.50 in court costs and fines.

* Cassandra McCarty, 27, 183 Wildwood Drive, Apartment 102, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of no insurance and no operator’s and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on charges of stop sign violation, permitting unauthorized persons to drive, registration card to be signed, carried and exhibited on demand and no motor vehicle inspection. She was assessed $570.50 in court costs and fines.

* Katelyne Gates, 28, 1174 Butcher Bend Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting, was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines and ordered to pay $96.78 civil penalty to the victim.

* Mark Anthony Toler, 35, 801 18th St., Apartment 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of violation of a protective order and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a second charge of violation of a protective order. He was sentenced to 90 days of unsupervised probation and assessed $410.25 in court costs and fines.

* Tina Louise McElfresh, 37, 1708 Bentley Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of no proof of insurance, no operator’s and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription; she was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Andrew Hopkins, 56, 635 South Hills St., Parkersburg, had probable cause found on the charge of manufacturing, delivering or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and his case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Brandi Nicole Mackey, 33, 706 Neal St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* William Raven Smith, 20, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Lewis Matthew Evans, 33, 50 Ramseys Ridge Road, West Union, was arriagned on a charge of driving on a license suspended for miscellaneous and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Oliver Keith Smith, 49, 924 W. Pike St., Clarksburg, was arraigned on two worthless check charges and released on a $1,000 bond.

* Tonia Janet Blake, 32, 2381 Savory Drive, Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of fraud in connection with an access device and held on a $5,000 bond.

* Basil Tabah Gayas, 41, 23410 Riverview Drive, Southfield, Mich., was arraigned on a charge of first-offense driving under the influence and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Cheryl Renee Naylor, 36, 12825 Harris Highway, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, possession of a controlled substance and battery of a police officer and released on a $4,000 surety bond.

* Alisha Dawn Small, 38, P.O. Box 133, Reedsville, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on a $25,000 bond.

* Jeramie David Walker, 40, 818 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. His bond was set at $200,000 surety, but he was held without bond on a fugitive from justice warrant from Ohio.

* Dalton Corey Drummond, 26, 1 Westview Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Nathan Charles Davis, 33, 808 Wood St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* David Allen Richards Jr., 25, 121 Rockland Drive, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Joseph Byron Cain, 32, of Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a domestic violence and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* David Franklin Thomas, 21, 601 Nicely Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a license suspended for miscellaneous and no insurance and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Brandon Bert Feick, 39, of Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,000 bond.

* Nathon Lee Flinn, 36, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,000 bond.

* Edker Doyle Carpenter, 49, 1009 George St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of failure to register as a sex offender and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Phillip Joseph Knittel, 56, 1312 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing with reckless indifference and shoplifting and released on a $52,000 bond.

* Chad Christopher True, 39, of Davisville, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault and released on a $50,000 surety bond.

* Jonathan Tyler Deaton, 29, 173 Kentucky Highway 1107, Paintsville, Ky., was arraigned on a charge of first-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and released on a $2,500 bond.

* Brent Michael O’Connor, 28, 832 Maple St., was arraigned on charges of reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions, no seatbelt, no insurance and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Aimee Lynn Creech, 41, 98 Hickory St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and released on a $3,000 bond.

* Matthew Paul Miller, 36, 37 Treasure Island Way, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and held on a $6,000 bond.

* Amanda Lynn Dobbins, 38, 183 Butcher Bend Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, obstructing, failure to render fingerprints and worthless check and released on a $2,500 bond.

BELPRE — Belpre Police Department released the following reports on May 28.

May 17:

* Taccaro P. Saunders, 37, of Belpre, was cited for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

* Lee A. Charlton, 36, of Little Hocking, was arrested for violation of protection order and transported to Washington County Jail.

May 18:

* Michael P. Mayes, 37, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated menacing and transported to Washington County Jail.

* Burl D. Waggoner, 26, of Elizabeth, was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail for failure to appear warrants from Belpre Mayor’s Court on charges of driving under suspension and tail light.
