PARKERSBURG –Parkersburg City Council has a light agenda for its regular session Tuesday, followed by an Urban Renewal Authority meeting.

The only item on the agenda for the council meeting at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers on the second floor of the Municipal Building is a resolution setting the April meetings for April 15 and 22, due to the requirement to lay the levy on the third Tuesday in April.

Council, sitting as the URA, will then consider an application to purchase a lot it owns at 1316 Oak St. for $100.

The agenda also lists discussion of a land reuse agency. URA Chairman Chris Rexroad said the agency was authorized by council in October 2020 but nothing else has been done with it. Tuesday’s discussion will just be informational, he said.
