BELPRE – A power outage has put Belpre High School on a two-hour delay.

More than 1,000 AEP Ohio customers, including the school, were without electricity starting at 7:22 a.m., according to the company’s online outage map.

In an automated call this morning, Belpre Superintendent Jeff Greenley said the high school would operate on a two-hour delay delay in hopes that electricity would be restored in time for the pushed-back start. The AEP Ohio map estimates restoration at 10 a.m.

Starting at $2.99/week.
