PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office on Monday released the name of the victim in a fatal accident Friday afternoon on U.S. 50 at Montgomery Hill Road.

The deceased is Bridget Nichole Willis, 36, of Walker, Chief Deputy G.M. Deem said.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and members of the Wood County Crash Team, Deem said.

Willis is survived by her mother, husband, two children and three siblings. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Beatty Cemetery in Burning Springs.
