A bank robber sentencing, the creation of a mural and broadband accessibility discussed in tomorrow’s edition

A sentencing for a bank robbery in 2017, the painting of a downtown mural and a broadband access are some of the topics coming in tomorrow’s edition from reporters Steven Allen Adams, Evan Bevins and Brett Dunlap.

William Johnson was sentenced Tuesday after nearly four years from when he robbed Williamstown Bank in 2017.

The Arts Collaborative of the Mid-Ohio Valley is inviting community members to be a part of the next downtown Parkersburg mural. Three painting parties are planned in conjunction with artist Greta McClain coming to town to work on the piece she’s dubbed “The Parkersburg Connection,” based on her discussions with residents.

Grants are pending on the state level which would allow for more families to have access to reliable and affordable broadband access.
