Wood BOE to postpone employee hearing

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Board of Education will meet online today to vote to postpone an employee termination hearing.

The hearing was set to take place at 6 p.m. today through a Zoom online meeting platform.

Wood County Schools Superintendent Will Hosaflook said Monday a delay had been requested by counsel for the employee.

“We will still have the meeting, but the motion will be to allow for a continuance,” Hosaflook said.

No other items are on the agenda, he said.

The school board’s next regular meeting is April 14. Agenda’s are typically posted the Friday before a meeting and can be found online at woodcountyschoolswv.com under About Us: BoardDocs: Meetings. Online meetings can be accessed via the district’s main website and wcsinnovate.com.
