YMCA of Parkersburg adds hand sanitizers

PARKERSBURG–The YMCA of Parkersburg said it aims to improve the community’s health and well-being by providing resources that promote wellness and healthy living.

The resources are not only fitness related. The YMCA of Parkersburg said it cares about helping patrons and guests build a strong immunity to sicknesses and illnesses. The YMCA announced the donation of four new hand sanitizer dispensers from Marietta Paint & Janitorial Supply LLC.

The hand sanitizer dispensers are strategically placed throughout the YMCA of Parkersburg’s facility at 1800 30th St. Guests and patrons can find the dispensers near the Y’s Aerobic Gym, Fitness Center, Welcome Center and Child Watch areas.

Each dispenser contains alcohol-free foaming sanitizer. This type of hand sanitizer contains a safe, non-flammable formula that won’t dry one’s skin, kills 99.99% of common germs in 15 seconds, and prevents alcohol consumption/poisoning, said the YMCA.
