Washington County Career Center promotes Energy Bus Program

MARIETTA — “The Energy Bus,” an international best seller by Jon Gordon, takes readers on an enlightening and inspiring ride that reveals 10 secrets for approaching life and work with the kind of positive, forward thinking that leads to true accomplishment — at work and at home.

In its second year with the Energy Bus program, the Washington County Career Center has implemented a team of student leaders to help promote positive activities that enforces these values. Using the 10 rules to fuel your life, work, and team with positive energy, the Career Center hopes to inspire and empower students to dream, believe and achieve.

The Career Center Energy Bus Student Leader Officers are: President Stormy Lockhart, daughter of Shawn and Ruby Reese of Marietta. She is a senior from Marietta in the Cosmetology program; Vice President Jacob Welch, son of Stephen and Rose Welch of Fleming. He is a junior from Warren in the Diesel Truck Mechanics program; Treasurer Faith Chichester, daughter of Jason and Tisha Chichester of Marietta. She is a senior from Marietta in the Diesel Truck Mechanics program; Co-Secretary Sophia Pope, daughter of Beth Dennis of Marietta. She is a junior from Marietta in the Masonry program; and Co-Secretary Samantha Gainer, daughter of Jamie Gainer of Belpre. She is a junior from Belpre in the Medical College Prep program.
