Wood County grand jury issues indictments

PARKERSBURG — The following people were indicted by the Wood County grand jury Wednesday:

* Noble Gibson, 39, in custody, was indicted on the charges of attempted murder and two counts of malicious assault. According to the criminal complaint, Gibson attacked his estranged wife; the two have been separated for over a year.

The criminal complaint said that on the evening of Sept. 8, the victim was taking out trash when she saw Gibson and attempted to run back into the home.

Gibson reached the house first, so she then tried to run to the neighbor’s house, when she was allegedly tackled and struck with an unknown sharp object, according to the charges. The complaint states the neighbor ran out and chased Gibson off with a baseball bat and the victim was transported to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.

The victim received more than 10 stab wounds, including to areas of the chest, neck, arms, face and back, officials said.

The victim had previously reported to the Washington County sheriff that she had received threatening texts from Gibson and he had been showing up at their children’s school during pick-up time and hiding around vehicles, officials said.

* Amanda Rene Dickerson, 35, in custody, was indicted on the charges of grand larceny, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, unlawful taking of a vehicle and petit larceny.

* Roman Voltaire East, 21, in custody, was indicted on the charges of fraudulent schemes and two counts of fraudulent use of an access device.

* Jermel Williams, 25, in custody, was arraigned on the charges of fraudulent schemes and two counts of fraudulent use of an access device.

* Amelia Valencia, 21, 174 Shelley Drive, Angier, North Carolina, was indicted on the charges of fraudulent schemes and obstruction.

* Laron Fuller, 38, 29 Westview Way, Parkersburg, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, eight counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.

* Shawn Crislip, 22, 103 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, was indicted on six counts of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.

* Darius Heard, 30, 595 Brown St., Apartment 2, Akron, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

* Nathan Hughes, 42, in custody, was indicted on two counts of burglary and two counts of failure to appear.

* Isaac Matthews, 18, 48 Thorn St., Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of robbery in the first degree, robbery in the second degree, conspiracy to commit robbery and use or presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

* Cipriano Rinaldi, 35, 3207 Charles Drive, Vienna, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.

* Kenneth Sewell, 51, in custody of the Washington County Jail, was indicted on two counts of breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, two counts of entering without breaking, conspiracy to commit entering without breaking, grand larceny and destruction of property.

* Christopher Stevens, 34, in custody, was indicted on a charge of breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, entering without breaking and conspiracy to commit entering without breaking.

* Gregory Staton, 30, in custody, was indicted on a charge of counterfeiting.

* Robert Vanolden, 28, in custody, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance.

* Courtney Smith, 28, 388 North Oak Grove Road, Washington, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

* Jamie Barrett, 24, 612 Blennerhassett Ave., Belpre, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance.

* Ricky White, 27, in custody, was indicted on six counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

* Nathan Williams, 26, in custody, was indicted on two counts of burglary, breaking and entering without breaking and battery.

* April Youst, 38, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance and four counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

(These are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty, the prosecutor’s office noted.)
