Wood County authorities arrest two for breaking and entering
PARKERSBURG — Two people were arrested for breaking and entering Tuesday by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies Tuesday responded to a burglary call in the area of Watson Road where while checking the exterior of the building, two subjects exited the building and began to run, the department said.
The man, later identified as Judd Burke, 28, Parkersburg, stopped when commanded, the department said. The woman, however, did not and ran up the hillside toward the Shriners building, the department said.
Deputies pursued her and took Nichole Danielle Kelley, 27, Parkersburg, into custody, the department said.
They were charged with breaking and entering. Kelley was also wanted on a fugitive warrant from Athens County, the department said.
Kelley and Burke were remanded to the regional jail in lieu of bond.
