MARIETTA — The Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce has endorsed the levy for Marietta City Schools to be decided in the general election on Nov. 5.

“This project will be transformational for the Marietta City School District and the local business community,” Chamber Chairman Kristopher Justice said.

School Superintendent Will Hampton was appreciative of the support.

“Marietta City School District is very excited to receive an endorsement from the MACC on our levy proposal,” he said. “Our levy to build new school facilities that will transform education is much more than a school matter. Passing this levy will be a much-needed shot in the arm for our entire community.”
