MARIETTA — The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta invites the community to a Solar Open House on Oct. 6 from 1-3 p.m. at the church at 232 Third St.

Those attending will get a close-up view of the PV array and see an energy dashboard documenting the system’s conversion of sunlight to electricity. Those involved with the installation will be on hand to answer questions. Everyone is welcome, and representatives of other faith communities are encouraged to attend, officials said.
