Interstate fair opens today at Butcher Bend

MINERAL WELLS — The 2019 West Virginia Interstate Fair and Exposition kicks off today and runs through Saturday at the fairgrounds on Butcher Bend Road near Mineral Wells.

Today’s schedule includes:

Senior Citizens Day

∫ 9 a.m.: 4-H Rabbit Show (Livestock Area)

∫ 10 a.m.: Still Exhibit Judging; Photographic Arts

∫ 4 p.m.: Ticket Gates Open; Flee Market Opens; Jr. Royalty Pageant Registration (Open Shelter); Senior Citizens Activities Begins; Makenna Hope

∫ 5 p.m.: Tiny Tot Pageant (Ages 3-5) Girls & Boys; Little Miss & Mister (Ages 6-8) Girls & Boys; Jr. Miss (Ages 9-12); Senior Citizen Meal

∫ 5:30 p.m: Senior Citizen Bingo

∫ 6 p.m.: Carnival Opens; Jr. Sheep Showmanship (Livestock Area); Jr. Market Goat Showmanship (Livestock Area) immediately following; Jr. Market Goat Show (Livestock Area) immediately following

∫ 6:30 p.m.: ATV Drag Racing Registration (ATV Track); Senior Citizen Cake Walk; Opening Ceremonies, Flag Raising Ceremony and Guest Dignitaries (Main Stage)

∫ 7 p.m.: Demolition Derby (Track); Tom Roddy (Main Stage); Senior Citizen Karaoke

∫ 7:30 p.m.: ATV Drag Racing (ATV Track Area)
