MARIETTA — For the second year, the Peoples Bank Theatre, Marietta College Theatre Department, and Artsbridge presented the Brick Street Arts Bash, block party of visual and performing arts on Saturday in downtown Marietta.

Morgan Thompson, a senior theater major from Marietta College, said the event was downsized some to allow for a better focus on local artists

“This is one of the things we do to help us to connect with the community,” she said.

Thompson said she estimated about 300 people in an out of the Arts Bash area which was the 200 block of Putnam Street. A performance of “Annie: The Musical” capped off the day at Peoples Bank Theatre, produced by the Marietta College Theatre Department.
