MINERAL WELLS — No injuries were reported in a house fire early Wednesday morning in Mineral Wells.

The Mineral Wells, Eastwood and Lubeck Volunteer Fire Departments responded to 6216 Elizabeth Pike just after 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire was fully involved and ended up causing extensive damage, said Paul Jordan of the Wood County Fire Investigation Team.

Around 20 firefighters responded to the fire.

No one was home at the time of the blaze and no one was reported injured. However, some pets were missing at the time of the initial report.

The fire investigation team has not determined a cause of the fire and the investigation is continuing, Jordan said.
