PARKERSBURG — Band of Brothers is this week’s featured group in the Artsbridge’s Summer Music Series at City Park.

Opening the show that starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday is local performer Evan Cunningham.

Thursday’s concert is sponsored by First Mutual Bank.

Members of Band of Brothers are: Rich Davis, lead vocals and guitar; Rusty Westmoreland, vocals and guitar; Ange Westmoreland, vocals; John Gallagher, guitar, keyboard and vocals; Kevin Evans, drums and vocals; and Dave Underwood, bass and vocals.

The classic rock band is based in Parkersburg and plays music from the 1950s to 1990s, including Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones, Bad Company, The Eagles, The Steve Miller Band, Journey and The Doobie Brothers, among others. The band formed about 14 years ago.

Cunningham is a singer and songwriter from Newport, graduated from Frontier High School and went to a Marietta College. His grandmother bought him his first guitar at a yard sale and he started playing when he was about 9.

The Summer Music Series is a free, family-friendly event organized by Artsbridge. Donations will be collected during the evening to support Artsbridge programs that promote the arts.

Shows are held at the gazebo. Lawn chairs are encouraged.

Concerts are held Thursdays through the end of August.
