11th annual St. Marys Wrestling Clinic
The 11th annual St. Marys Wrestling Clinic will be held July 8-10.
The clinic runs from 9-10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. each day at St. Marys High School Auxiliary Gym.
The clinic is open to individuals in kindergarten through fifth grade for the first session, and grades 6-12 for the second session.
The cost is $40 per wrestler in kindergarten through fifth grade and $70 for grades 6-12. Individuals registering before July 1 receive a free T-shirt.
Clinic instructors include Pat Sole, Chris Daggett and Wiley Houser. Sole is a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and a former wrestling coach at both Ohio Valley University and Liberty University. Daggett wrestled collegiately and is a former assistant coach at OVU. House is a St. Marys alum and Glenville State University wrestler.

Summer All-Comer Track Meets
The 2025 Summer All-Comer Track Meets will be held June 12 and June 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Belpre High School.
Entry fee is $10 per participant for an unlimited number of events on milesplit or $15 per participant for an unlimited number of events day of registration.

West Virginia Baseball Camp
The WVU Baseball Camp will be held at The Dugout in Parkersburg from 4-7 p.m. on July 24.
The camp is designed for kids ages 5-12.

Williamstown Offensive Skills Basketball Camp
The 35th annual Offensive Skills basketball camp will be held Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27 at Williamstown High School.
Campers grades kindergarten through five will attend the a.m. session from 8 a.m. to noon. Campers grades 6-9 will attend from 1-5 p.m.
The camp features experienced coaches and many all-state players as instructors. Cost is $100.

38th Annual Ohio River Basketball Camp
The 38th annual Ohio River Basketball Camp will be held June 9-12 at Ravenswood High School.
The camp is for boys and girls entering grades 3-8 and will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day. It is geared for boys and girls who have definite goals of improving their individual skills and have a desire to play the great game of basketball.
There will be 36 counselors and 10 highly qualified coaches who will staff the camp, which will feature games, prizes, awards, competitions and guest speakers throughout the week.
Each camper will receive a camp certificate, a T-shirt and a basketball.

Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley Golf Scramble Rescheduled
The Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley Golf Scramble has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 21, at Woodridge Plantation Golf Course.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 10.
This is a four-person mix scramble and is limited to the first 20 teams, although individuals may enter and will be placed on a team.
Entry fee is $100 per person and includes green fees, cart rental, lunch and awards reception. Hole sponsorship is $175.

Mid-Ohio Valley Tennis Association Power Point Tennis
The Power Point Tennis program is a collaborative effort of Mid-Ohio Valley Tennis Association (MOVTA), Summer Rec Programs, Greenmont Racquet Club, local businesses, and local tennis enthusiasts. The June schedule is June 1 (Tennis Matches), June 8 (Tennis Matches), June 15 (No Tennis-Father’s Day), June 22 (Tennis Matches) and June 29 (Sign Off Sunday).
Matches and Sign Off Sunday are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. at the City Park Tennis Courts.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program may stop by the courts on any of the dates listed above. This is a program to encourage year round tennis for junior players.
The MOVTA will be sponsoring the Power Point Tennis Kickoff on Friday, June 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. It will be held at the City Park Tennis Courts.
Pizza and snacks will be provided and there will be tennis games. The evening is free to attend.
